Indian TV series are strange in their own ways. One of the most common phenomena which we observe on Indian TV shows is that the characters are always getting divorced and remarried. One such similar sequence is coming up in Zee’s popular TV show Kundali Bhagya. Actress Shraddha Arya recently posted on her Instagram account how she was gearing up to get married for the 10th time on the show. And well, how does it matter who she is marrying this time as she will marry for the 11th time too.
In her social media post she posted: When it’s your 10th wedding in the same show and now you don’t care Why, When or With Whom it is… (sic).
Shraddha in a candid chat with BT, said, “When a show runs for more than five years, almost six years, then a lot of unusual things happen in it. And to make the story gripping, alive and entertaining, many things are introduced. When a wedding takes place, it grabs a lot of eyeballs and that’s what we want. Who does not want high
TRPs?”
The actress shares that it has been tough for her character Preeta to see the ups and downs of life. She has faced many separations and coming together with Karan was much awaited (currently played by Shakti Arora and earlier by Dheeraj Dhoopar). She says, “Preeta’s journey has gone through a lot of upheavals and she has been together and separated from Karan many times. Whenever a wedding sequence is planned, I enjoy it and the whole family gets together and those are the most enjoyable days on the sets of Kundali Bhagya.”
In the current track, Shraddha’s character is getting married to Shakti Arora’s character after a long separation. Karan was assumed to be dead but just like the popular mysterious arrival of Mihir, he too has risen from the ashes. Shakti had replaced Dheeraj in the show after the latter quit in June 2022. The show commenced in July 2017 and other important actors in the show are Anjum Fakih, Manit Joura and Ruhi Chaturvedi.
