The channels are bringing new concepts and trying to win the audience and TRPS, by their fresh cast and unique storylines. Life OK is known for good experimenting, and now even Sony has brought new shows along Colors.

Satrangee Sasural: (Zee tv)

The story is how a bahu has to impress her seven mum in laws, as the guy introduces her to them. The promo shows with the female lead Mugdha waiting for her boyfriend at a restaurant. The male lead Ravish Desai comes late for his date and makes an excuse that he was on a look out for a special gift for the love of his life. He goes down on one knee and gives her a ring, but unlike most guys, Ravish gives her seven rings to wear. Will the girl be able to manage seven unique Saas.

Tum Aise Hi Rehna: (Sony Tv)

Tum Aise Hi Rehna which explores the delicate yet emotional relationship shared between a husband and a wife. Starring Kinshuk Mahajan and Shefali Sharma in lead roles. Tum Aise Hi Rehna chronicles the lives of Ria and Abhimanyu who belong to two completely different worlds but are deeply in love. A doctor, Ria comes from a contemporary middle class family, while Abhimanyu is a businessman who belongs to a rich conservative family. After facing all oppositions, Abhimanyu and Ria’s love conquers all and they get married against all odds. But soon Ria realizes the other side of love when she becomes a daughter-in-law and a wife. It’s the story of two people, who got separated and now are connected only by their children. The show has love in it, as the children love their parents, and even the couple still have love in their hearts Ronit Roy and Pallavi Kulkarni are starring in this show. Her role is of the independent woman who took care of her children on her own, after the separation. She is annoyed with him as he did not do any duty in the past 15 years.

Mere Rang Mein Rangne Wali: (Life Ok)

The show is touted to be a complete family drama with a story about young love. The title has been taken from Rajshri’s popular song from Salman Khan starrer Maine Pyaar Kiya. The serial that will present a joint family with three generations staying together has Alok Nath playing the patriarch head of the boys’ family. The male lead will be played by Samridh Bawa and the female lead by a newbie Pranali Ghoghare.

Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat: (Colors Tv)

The historical retelling of this tale on Colors will showcase the journey and lifetime of emperor Ashoka, from his rise to power to his state of penance after the gory blood-bath in the battle of Kalinga that made him give up war to embrace Buddhism. Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat is the first time that the king’s story will be narrated on television.
