With the new year beginning, viewers can bid bye to the boring old shows and expect to watch something new and fresh on almost every channel. Last week, Ghulaam aired on Life Ok. Competing well in the TRPs game, Zee TV and Sony have brought up their shows this week. Though, both the shows are very much different.

Zee’s Woh Apna Sa is a typical family drama daily soap. It brings the third person in picture and also answers the meaning of the deserving third person titled Woh, who looks very dear. The show revolves around Aditya, Nisha and Jhanvi’s lives. Ssudeep Sahir, Riddhi Dogra and Disha Parmar make a comeback with this show.

Their chemistry and screen presence becomes a visual treat. The show raises a question on compulsion over the legally rightful spouse being the right companion. The third person Jhanvi would be seen redefining relationships.

Sony’s Peshwa Bajirao is a historical drama which brings a tale based on the real life incidents of Bajirao. It follows the lines of the hit movie Bajirao Mastani. Bajirao is the courageous son of Radhabai and Balaji Vishwanath, who was the first Peshwa of Chhatrapati Shahu. Vishwanath and Radhabai encourage him to become a Peshwa.
