Shoot of Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali stalled due to actors testing COVID positive

Coronavirus has gripped the world within it’s clutches for a year. And we all are struggling to find ways to get our lives back on track. But with the recent reports coming in, it seems that there is a long road to a normal life. With the number of cases rising in Maharashtra, it looks like our entertainment industry is in trouble too.On Thursday morning, actors and crew members of Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali tested positive and it has an impact on the shoot too.

The show is currently being shot in Kolhapur and as it turns out, this was the maximum number of cases on the sets of a show. The leads along with other actors have tested positive and the shoot was stalled for Wednesday and Thursday. Reports in The Times of India suggest that the shoot is likely to resume from Friday.

The producer of the show, Sandiip Sikcand confirmed actors and crew members testing positive on the show and mentioned that they are asymptomatic. He added that everyone is receving medical attention and are under quarantine while the KMC will take care of fumigation and sterilization on sets as per protocol. He said that they are in touch with the team and their health is a priority and will ensure safety while also adhering to the measured prescribe.

The show features Shivangi Khedkar and Sai Ketan Rao in the lead roles and is based on Telugu show Gorintaku.
