This past year we have all seen our TV industry struggle with the impact of COVID 19. In one of the shocking turn of events, actor Paras Kalnawat who is currently essaying the character of Samar Shah in television’s highest TRP rated show ‘Anupamaa’ has now tested positive for Coronavirus. As per the reports in the media, he was keeping unwell for a while and this morning when the results of his COVID test came out, he tested positive. All of this brought the shoot of the show to a halt. Currently, tests are being performed of the remaining cast and crew members on the set.
Paras Kalnawat has tested positive and now for precautionary reasons tests are being performed on the rest of the crew.
Earlier, actors Sachin Tyagi, Swati Chitnis and Samir Onkar from Rajan Shahi’s yet another popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai had contracted Coronavirus. However, with rest and proper medication, they were soon back in the action.
Meanwhile, many other actors in the television industry such as Parth Samthaan, Shrenu Parikh, Rajeshwari Sachdev, Himani Shivpuri, Rajesh Kumar, Sara Khan, Mohena Kumari, Kiran Kumar, Additi Gupta, Mohit Malik and others tested positive for COVID-19 and recovered.
