Shoaib Ibrahim on trolls calling wife Dipika Kakar’s pregnancy fake
Shoaib Ibrahim and his wife Dipika Kakar, who are expecting their first child in July this year are enjoying each moment to the fullest. In a recent interview, Shoaib revealed how his wife Dipika is subjected to social media trolling due to being homely and family oriented. He also shared that trolls attack her and accuse her of faking her pregnancy.
He said, “There are some people who feel Dipika is faking her pregnancy. They write stuff like “kitne pillows badlogi”. They say “Accha har month Takiye ka size change kar rahe ho, Waah kya shaane ho”. We can’t do anything about them because their mindset is such. We don’t bother anymore. We are very happy as a family. If people stop loving us even then we will stay happy together. We might not be seen on social media but we as a family will always be together and happy. Through social media, we are able to express ourselves whether it is vlogs, or Instagram but we don’t give anyone a right to interfere in our personal lives. We give a glimpse of our personal life to the audience but we don’t show everything. Joh log pasand karte hain woh karte hain and we have a connection with fans who are like our extended family. We have never done something desperately to be seen. You guys have known us. We get calls from paparazzi to inform them about our activities, but we don’t do things unnecessarily.”
The Sasural Simar Ka actress also gets attacked by trolls for leading a simple life.. Talking about it Shoaib said, “My life is incomplete without Dipika, jahan Shoaib ka naam hoga wahan Dipika Ka Naam hoga… Dipika is like the way you see her and she was the same in the Bigg Boss house but some people don’t accept it. They feel after being a celebrity how can a person be so down-to-earth and homely? How can she not wear glamorous clothes, not attend parties, is not outgoing, but they don’t understand she is like that as a person. I remember after Bigg Boss there was a phase where she was not very physically fit and was going through a few health issues. She had anxiety issues and at that time she mentioned to me that she wants to look after the family. She wanted me to go out and work. She genuinely feels it. Now, her seven months pregnant and I’ve never seen her so happy ever. Mujhe nahi lagta usse zyaada koi khush hai.”
Slamming the trolls, Shoaib added, “Trolling does affect mentally and kis ko nahi karrti? But we look at it differently that we are growing in life and hence we are getting trolled. The culture of social media is now to troll people instead of praising them. Tarreef se zyaada trolling he milegi kisko not to a normal person but to a celebrity. Yes, it definitely affects Dipika and me.”
