Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar celebrate Eid in hospital with their newborn

Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar, popular television actors, recently celebrated Eid in the hospital where Dipika is currently admitted after giving birth to their baby boy on June 21. Shoaib shared a glimpse of their joyous celebration on his Instagram account. Due to the premature delivery, their newborn is currently in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) until his health improves and they can bring him home.

Dressed in powder blue outfits, Shoaib and Dipika celebrated Eid together, joined by their cousins Riza and Rehaan, as well as their mothers, who visited Dipika in the hospital to mark this auspicious occasion. This is their little one’s first Eid, making it a particularly special day for the family.

It’s worth mentioning that Shoaib and Dipika received an unexpected surprise when their baby arrived a month earlier than expected. While they were celebrating Shoaib’s birthday and had just returned home, Dipika had to be rushed to the hospital. She later had to be transferred to another hospital for an emergency C-section. Although Dipika is now in a better condition, she will remain in the hospital to stay close to her baby until they both get discharged.

In a recent vlog, Shoaib and Dipika candidly shared details about the delivery and the events that unfolded. Shoaib explained the reason behind Dipika’s delayed discharge, stating that her milk needs to be given to the baby. While the doctor suggested they could bring the milk from home, the distance between their residence in Mira Road and the hospital in Bandra would make it time-consuming. Delivering milk three times a day would be impractical under those circumstances, hence their continued stay in the hospital.

Both Dipika and Shoaib’s families, as well as their fans, eagerly await the day when the little one will be discharged and can finally go home.
