Shivya Pathania reacts to troll commenting on her swimsuit pics; writes, “Since childhood I have witnessed women being shamed for their choice of clothing”
Shivya Pathania who is known for essaying mythological roles was recently holidaying in the Maldives. She shared some stunning pictures in bikinis on her social media account which attracted a lot of negative comments and trolling. Troller called her out for her choice of outfits after essaying the role of a Goddess on-screen.
Now with her latest post, the actress reacted to the trolling and wrote, “In terms of some of the trollers spewing negativity on my latest posts, I acknowledge the fact that the one’s supporting me as an actor and also as an individual “Who has a personal life” is much more than the trollers trolling for my choices and the concern of a women wearing what and what not is overcooked now.”
“Since childhood I have witnessed women being shamed for their choice of clothing and being bullied for the same and since a very young age I haven been breaking barriers, fighting stereotypes and to know and tell that the choice of clothing can and will never judge a woman’s character of what aura, substance and values she holds. To end it all, I appreciate everyone who has been a part of my journey till now and apologise if I have hurt anyone’s sentiments,” Shivya added.
