Anika stared at Daksh with a blank expression on her face, Mallika too stood beside her with same expression. ‘How come you’re here? What a pleasant surprise,’ he said and gave her a side hug. ‘Sasrikal,’ he greeted Mallika and she joint her palms greeting him back, her eyebrows creased at him. ‘Actually, she’s my friend, Tia Bajpai, we’re really good friends so we hug like this, I m sorry if I hurt anyone of you,’ he said. ‘Actually, she’s very sensitive and moody, none of us is hurt, right chhoti?’, she said placing her hand on her shoulder sensing jealousy in her, she too went through this when Karan’s friend hugged him so she completely understood her.





‘Right, you carry on, we’re on our way to meet a friend,’ Anika replied giving him a tiny fake smile and walked away followed by Mallika. Daksh and Tia looked at each other then at the sisters till they went a little far. ‘Daksh, you should follow her and see which friend she’s meeting,’ Tia suggested. ‘Good idea, I will drop you off at your house,’ he said. ‘No, they will get out of your sight, let’s go together,’ she said and he agreed. They walked faster.

Till then, the sisters had hired a cab and were really out of sight. ‘I told you dear,’ she said rolling her eyes. Meanwhile in the cab, Anika was upset. ‘Chhoti, it happens, she’s just a friend,’ Mallika said trying to calm her. ‘No di, he’s lying, I can see it in his eyes, he hugged me so that I don’t feel different, they have some other relationship,’ she replied as if she will have an emotional breakdown anytime. ‘Don’t worry, give yourself some time, we’re going to meet Shivaay, you know he can’t tolerate your tears,’ Mallika said trying her best.

‘I so wish I could’ve talked to mom dad about his and my marriage, he’s right, he does what he says,’ she replied regretting her decision. ‘I know, but now you said yes, but if you want, I can talk to them,’ she suggested. ‘I m just so helpless.’ Mallika patted her head. ‘Fine, let Shivaay do it.’ Anika looked at her in disbelief. ‘I told him not to, now if I say to do it, that bhaggar billa will say that was I speaking in Chinese at that time.’ Mallika laughed.



‘OK but this jhaggru billi also doesn’t understands, what’s that bhaggar billa’s fault,’ she said between her laughs trying to make her laugh as well. ‘You just tease me,’ she said with a sad face. ‘So do you, Karan and I were fighting masters when our alliance was fixed with each other and we too met suddenly on road after that like you met with Daksh,’ Mallika told her and as she said this, Anika looked at her with interest clearly visible on her face. ‘Then what happened?’, she asked. ‘He was with his friend Jennifer and they both were friends, they were hugging, and I got badly jealous and ran away.’

‘Really? Then what happened di?’, she asked. Mallika watched her expressions. ‘He chased me all the way back to house, and I closed the door on his face, that poor guy’s nose got banged accidentally.’ Anika giggled. ‘Then?’ ‘Then he had to come to meet me by sneaking in through the window. Then you know what? He scared me and I was shocked seeing him, especially his red nose, all my anger fleed and I started laughing seeing his nose, and that way it got easier to forgive him.’



‘You both are too adorable,’ she complimented. ‘Hmm, look we reached chhoti.’ She paid the cab driver and they waited for Shivaay. Little did they know, Daksh and Tia were watching them. ‘Who are they waiting for?’, Tia asked. ‘A friend,’ he replied. Just then, a man with well built body with a trolley of bags walked towards them. Anika recognized him and smiled. ‘Shivaay,’ she exclaimed and hugged him tightly. ‘Aww baby, missed me ha?’, he replied hugging her back. ‘This is her friend, not friend, actually boyfriend,’ Tia said. ‘Nope, even friends hug like this,’ he said.



‘Thank God you’re back, I missed you a lot, I m incomplete without you just like sky without sun and moon, tree without leaves, fingers without nails, eyes without sight, mouth without voice, lips without kiss, body without bones and head without hair,’ Anika spoke making them laugh. ‘Too funny, I m also incomplete without you just like your face is incomplete without make up,’ he teased and she hit on his chest. They sat in the cab and sped off. ‘Tia and Daksh looked on. ‘You call this friendship? They’re deeply in love with each other, don’t be blind,’ she said.

‘Let’s go, leave all this.’ They too went. Mallika had told Shivaay everything about what they saw. ‘I have a very good idea, let’s spy on him,’ he said. ‘But how?’, she asked while Anika kept quiet. ‘Its simple, we just have to fix cameras all over his house, but for that, we will have to go to his house,’ he suggested. ‘But anyone of us can do it,’ Anika said. ‘Yes, but someone will have to keep an eye on him, and no one can do it better than you,’ he said. ‘Fine I will do it,’ she agreed.

Later that day, a cab stopped outside a small bungalow, Anika stepped out of it along with Shivaay. ‘You go by door and when you feel it’s right time to come in, message me.’ She nodded and went towards the main gate and rang the bell. Shivaay hid himself. Daksh came out and on seeing her, he smiled at her, she smiled back. ‘Butterflies in your stomach, huh,’ Shivaay teased and she glared at him. Daksh opened the door and she walked inside along with her. Shivaay waited outside the house. His phone vibrated indicating that he had received a text message, he opened it and it said to come in. He climbed up the gate and jumped inside. He again received a text. ‘Come in from the right hand side window of first floor,’ it said. He saw a ladder and brought it making it stand leaning the wall, he climbed up and as he reached, he looked inside to make sure there’s no one. ‘I m in the room adjacent to the room you sneaked in, fix a camera there and in every room,’ it said. His work was done and he jumped out of the window as his work was done. She too bid bye to Daksh and went. She met Shivaay outside and they hired a cab and left, luckily no one saw them together.
