Part 6
I saw her sitting on a bench. I couldn’t see her face clearly as it was a bit dark. I was bit worried because she is afraid of darkness but luckily moon light was accompanying her. She was sitting quietly. There was no moment in her body. She was continuously looking at the moon. I knew she was upset and it’s very difficult to convince Annika. She is not like other women he knew their interest only lies in money, luxurious things or jewellieries. She is Annika, a unique piece existing in this world. She is a survivor.
During one of our fights she said to him proudly “I am Annika just Annika this is my identity and no one can change it. I earned this identity with my hard work. Don’t u think Shivay it’s just a jackpot that u are born in this family. No one can recognise u without your surname. So stop talking about khoon, khandhan etc…. if a person doesn’t belong to a reputed family, it doesn’t mean that they r bad. They can be even better than u.” from that day he decided that Annika is something which he can’t understand. She was never afraid of him.
He used his power, money etc… to control her, but nothing helped him. He wanted to go away from her but they always remained close. Their relationship is something different. People say without love there is no relationship, but I would rather say without trust there is no relationship. Our relationship is based on trust. I still have the guilt of not trusting her earlier. When daksh filled my head against her, I trusted him. But when my entire family except omru got convinced that tia’s child was mine. Only Annika stood against it. She always trusted me. I don’t know what good I have done till date that I deserve a girl like her.
I went towards her. I think she sensed me. She was about to leave the place, but I held her hand. She did not turn around.
“Annika actually what happened was” I was trying to give an explanation. But she was not in a mood to listen. She tried to jerk my hand away. But I held it strongly. I twirled her around and she collided with my chest. I cupped her face and looked into her eyes. I found dried tear strains. I caressed her face.
“How many times I will tell you Annika, I can’t see tears in your eyes. Don’t you dare cry for any reason”, I said to her angrily
“But Shivay when you are the reason for my tears what can I do” she replied calmly
I didn’t have answer for her question. She is right I always made her cry. I even promised Om I will not hurt her, but I ended up hurting her. I didn’t want to hurt her. I just want her to understand how it feels when someone close to you be with someone else. But I never thought she would take it so seriously. I felt the same when arnav and Annika danced together. I can’t blame her because she is so naïve and innocent.
“Annika I don’t even know who is that girl she just came and sat with me. I swear I have never seen her before” I am trying my level best to explain her.
“So u never met her before” she asked me
“Yes, Annika I never met her before. I was just casually speaking with her”, I replied her
“If u don’t know her then why did she kiss you” she asked angrily. I swear I saw kaali maata in her eyes. The great SSO is giving explanation to someone, but she is not ready to accept this fact. She is in her own tadi mood. Did I say tadi. Oh god staying with her I am slowly becoming second version of Annika. I brushed my thoughts away.
“Annika it was just a friendly gesture. It’s common nowadays to kiss anyone”
“cheapde kaike shivay how dare u say this to me? U say that it’s very common to kiss. I don’t know how many girls kissed you. My whole life got spoiled. Ab mein kya karungi”. She continued her blabbering. I am trying to calm her down, but she is not at all listening.
I locked her lips with mine. She was beyond shocked. I just want to silence her but after feeling the taste of her lips. I lost all my sanity. I sucked her lower lip followed by her upper lip. She didn’t respond to the kiss. I know it’s her first time. I am happy on the fact that she didn’t push me away. I don’t want to rush things. If I continue this then I will not be able to stop myself. I wanted her to feel me, to taste me. So with heavy heart I broke the kiss and looked into her face. She refused to look into my face. I cupped her face.
“I will not tell lie Annika, it’s not my first kiss, but this is the first kiss which I will remember for my entire life, this memories will always remain in my heart and I will always cherish it. I’m sorry for kissing you without your permission.” Saying so I turned to leave the place. But I felt someone holding my hand. I turned around that’s when I got the biggest shock as well as happiness of my life.
“shivay, I trust you”, saying so she locked her lips with mine. I was shocked. But I soon dominated the kiss. It’s her first time but she soon mimicked my actions. I felt all my wild dreams coming true. After few minutes we parted away for oxygen. I hugged her tightly and she too reciprocated.
Annika’s pov
When first Shivay kissed me, I couldn’t believe myself. I thought I am dreaming. He was a very good kisser. He controlled his emotions for my comfort. He’s a true gentleman. That’s when I decided to kiss him back. I very well know I love him but I don’t expect the same from him. I just want him to be with me always. i trust him a lot and will do anything for his happiness.
We broke our hug and Shivay got a call. He attended the call. He seems to be very happy.
“Annika, oberoi group cracked deals with shuklas. I am going to Hyderabad for a week to finish some paper works. It’s very urgent. You inform to omru and others, I will say to bade papa.I will come back soon. Till then take care” he caressed my head lovingly
“Congratulations Shivay, please take care and come back soon”, I said to him. He smiled at me and left from there.
After 1 week
At shivika’s room
Annika was arranging her clothes. She felt a pair of hands around her waist. She knew it was Shivay.
“Shivay, aap aa gaye, I missed u so much”, Annika hugged him tightly.
“I missed u too “,Shivay replied
“shivay I want to say something to you”
“haan tell me Annika”
“ I am going to Singapore next week”,Annika said happily
“wow that’s great Annika, you worked very hard for this”, Shivay was proud of his wife
“by the way whose coming with u Annika” Shivay asked
“Our entire team is coming; it’s our biggest project ever. Guess what arnav is also coming with us, so need to worry”,
“What Arnav is also coming?” Shivay shouted
“Come on Shivay. He is the owner so definitely he have to come right. I have to do a lot of packing. U go and get fresh, then we will have dinner together”, Annika left from there
Annika and arnav in Singapore for a week. Shivay’s head started to spin.
