Part 1
Annika was seriously watching the clock. When it reached 12:00 am Annika jumped in happiness.
Annika’s pov
Today is the most important day of my life. It’s 12:00 AM and the day is started. I seriously can’t believe this is happening to me. At last the most awaited day of my life has arrived. I am waiting for this day to come since four months. Finally I am getting married to Shivay, the love of my life. Well I didn’t confess it to him but he understand everything just by reading my eyes. I am just waiting for the right moment.
During the phool ka chadar rasam Shivay said to me “till today you only got thorns in your life but now it’s time for flowers”. He did fulfill his promise. He filled my entire life with flowers. For the past two weeks he made me feel so special. He never fail to admire me. When dadi asked Shivay to stay away two foot from me his expressions changed to that of a child who lost his lollipop. I was silently giggling inside my mind.
We had a challenge who will say I love you first but both didn’t lose yet. He is waiting for me to say first. Well my bhagad billa never know I already told him I love you two times but both the time he was unconscious. He tried his own methods but all his plans flopped. One day he looked deep into my eyes and said Annika in husky voice and I fell for him again. His kanji aankh mesmerized me forever.
I was about to say that magical words to him but luckily dadi called me and I flew from there. He never leaves a chance to romance me. He always made sure I am comfortable. Our challenge is still left but I don’t think both of us will say it before our wedding. Today I am getting married. I very well remember what I said to mallika when she asked my opinions about love. But now everything changed when it rains now I think to romance with Shivay instead of worrying about my leaking roofs. I sit in a corner and smile thinking about Shivay.
I feel so happy when I think Shivay is by my side. I am going to surprise him. I am waiting to see his reaction when he sees me wearing the bangles given by mallika. I am going to propose him first but only after our wedding. I want to see his reactions till then. Well I am going to propose first because his happiness is more important to me. Beside me gauri and bhavya are sleeping. Yesterday night we had girls night stay.
We had a lot of fun. They are more like sisters to me. I woke up in middle of my sleep.I am not even getting sleep. This bhagad billa always come in my dreams. Already I stayed three months away from him now it’s more than three weeks but still I can’t be with him till our marriage. Those three months were the worst phase of my life. Staying away from him was the biggest punishment. I don’t even want to think about it. I have to be happy right now. No power in this world can separate us now. I trust him completely. I love you Shivay.
She was deeply engrossed in her thought. She decided to go around the house. She thought maybe some fresh air can help her. Although she is very happy to marry him. She is a bit nervous.
Before three days she saw him walking angrily to his room and closed it with a big thud sound. He was looking too angry. His hairs messed up. She could clearly see rage in his eyes. She was worried for him. She immediately went to his room and knocked it. He didn’t respond to her. All she could hear was some smashing sound. She immediately called him through her phone. But he didn’t attend her call instead he broke his phone into pieces. She was afraid now.
” Shivay are you fine? Why are you breaking everything? please open the door”, she knocked his door continuously.
She couldn’t go inside because window was also locked. Om who was passing by that side heard her voice. He immediately went to her.
” bhabhi what happened? Why are you crying?”, omkara questioned her.
” look na om he is not opening the door. He is breaking everything inside. He is not even answering me”, Annika said while crying.
” bhabhi please don’t cry. let me call him”, he too knocked the door but suddenly he remembered something.
” bhabhi what’s the date today”, om asked her.
” 10 september “, she answered him.
” bhabhi he won’t listen to us today. We should leave him alone”, om said to her.
” matlab”, Annika couldn’t understand.
” woh actually bhabhi every year in this date Shivay will lock himself in his room and break things. We tried to stop him many times but he never listened to us. In fact he will not talk to us entire day. We asked him many times but he never told the reason to us. He need some time bhabhi we should leave him alone”, om explained her.
” but how can we leave him like this?”, Annika didn’t agree.
” please bhabhi”, om tried to convince her.
He somehow took her away from Shivay’s room. Next day Annika asked Shivay about this but he didn’t answer her. After a lot of hungama he told her he was upset because he lost most important deal of his life to some rival on that day. He can’t forgive himself for that and with that he started to sob. Annika hugged him tightly and pacified him. She wondered why shivay is crying as far as she know he is very strong and never cried for any business losses.
On the same day evening tej uncle was talking to Annika.
” you know what beta I am so proud of Shivay. starting from his beginning he never lost even a single deal to our rivals. He is not only wall of this family but also entire oberoi empire”, tej uncle said to Annika.
From then onward the doubt of Shivay hiding something to her increased in her mind. But she never asked him again because of her trust on him. She didn’t want to disturb him. If he didn’t say to her then someone’s welfare must be the reason for it. But being anika she decided to find the truth in her own way. She want to know what is disturbing shivay. She can’t let him suffer. It’s her duty to help him overcome his problem. She promised to find the truth at any cost.
At kitchen
Annika came to kitchen to eat something. She felt hungry as she woke up from middle of her sleep. She decided to eat some apple from fridge. She could smell some delicious smell from kitchen counter. She went towards it and found a plate of hot aloo poori surrounded by a bunch of roses along with a note.

She smiled reading the note. He always suprises her let it be morning or night. Time was never a barrier to him.
She wished to see him but then remembered he must be busy in his conference call. She wondered how he did all this even though he is busy. She took a bite of aloo poori and found instantly Shivay made it. She started to admire his culinary skills.
She dreamed a happy life with him whereas fate already had other plans for them. What’s Shivay trying to hide from her?
Part 2
Two hours before wedding
” bhaujai you are looking so beautiful. Bade bhaiya is definitely going to have hard time. Bechara he have to stay two foot away from you”, gauri complimented Annika.
” don’t worry bhabhis after two hours bhabhi will get married to Shivay bhaiya and after that he will not even stay two millimetres away from bhabhi”, bhavya too joined teasing club.
” you two will never change. I am all nervous here and you two are teasing me”, Annika complained.
” aww baujai why are you feeling nervous? You are not marrying a stranger. In fact you are so lucky that you are marrying Shivay bhaiya. He loves you so much. He will take care of you more than his life”, gauri hugged Annika.
” only you can praise your bade bhaiya. You are saying he loves me but that bhagad billa never told it to me”, Annika complained like a little kid. But later realized what she told.
” what bade bhaiya”, gauri started.
” didn’t say I LOVE YOU”, bhavya added.
” till now”, omru completed. Everyone gasped in shock.
The girl’s gang was surprised to see omkara and rudra.
” both of you here”, gauri asked.
” woh actually we came to see bhabhi”, omakara said.
” but something else is happening here”, rudra said.
” Annika bhabhi but I never expected this from bhaiya”, bhavya felt bad for Annika.
” guys everyone relax. We all know Shivay is not in good in expressing himself. So he may take some time”, om supported his brother after all he know how much he loves Annika.
” bhabhi don’t listen to this lambe baal wala prani. He always take Shivay bhaiya side”, rudra said.
” maybe om you are right he just need some time”, Annika supported Shivay.
” arre wah baujai is taking her bade bhaiya’s side “, gauri giggled.
Annika blushed in return. Everyone started to tease her.
” I forgot to ask. Omru do you want to say something to me”, Annika asked them.
” oh yeah I forgot to say actually Shivay asked me to inform you that he brought three set of jewelleries for you and he want you to choose one from it and wear it for your wedding. He can’t give it you because dadi is now very strict with her inspection. She wants both of you to stay away from each other at least before two hours of wedding”, omkara explained her.
” oh bhabhi gift from bhaiya”, bhavya winked at her.
” aap dekhna bhaiya after marriage Shivay bhaiya will not let Annika bhabhi to step out from their room even for a second”, rudra teased her.
Annika blushed at his comment. She quickly ran from there before they could continue their teasing session.
Shivay’s room
Annika saw the jewelries kept on the bed. She went towards it and took one ear ring in her hand. She was seeing it but it fell down from her hand and went under a table. She bend down to take it but she found a diary beneath the table. She wondered who’s diary was that. She was hesitating to read it first but she thought this may give her some clue about Shivay’s behaviour.
She opened the first page and read it
” no one has right to read this diary
If you do so then ready to bear the consequences
Because you are messing with Shivay singh oberoi”, Annika laughed reading this.
She was like he is always in his tadibaaz avatar. She continued to read further. At first it started happily but later Annika was shocked. She felt her entire head spinning. Tears continuously flowed from her eyes. She once again read it because she trusted shivay more than her eyes.
” dear Annika I am sorry. I know I am cheating you and I don’t have any right to justify it. But I am doing this for the welfare of our family. I am dying every day in guilt. Whenever I see your face I remember my lies. I never thought fate will bring us together like this. From my childhood I am searching for you but I could never find you.
I identified you instantly during our first meet but still I wasn’t sure. Your chand bracelet is your trademark. But all this problems took in our life and I never got time to conform your identity. But before three weeks I conformed your identity you are not just Annika but you are Annika Tagore, elder daughter of Tagore family. I am sorry Annika for hiding this from you. How can I face you when you will get know that oberois are responsible for your parents death. How you will react when you will know what I am hiding from you?
I know how much you suffered in your life and we are responsible for it. I am guilty for this. I am sorry Annika. I know you trust me a lot and I am sorry for breaking it. I promised you I will never hide anything from you but please forgive me for doing this. If I disclose this truth then you will definitely leave me and I don’t want it “,Annika couldn’t believe her eyes.
Annika’s pov
No this is can’t be true. Whatever I am reading is not true. How can Shivay hide this from me? I trust him a lot. This can be his prank. He want me to say I love you first that’s why he is doing this. I won’t spare that bhagad billa today.
Shivay silently sneaked into his room before dadi could find him. He want to speak with Annika. Today he will confess his feelings to her before their wedding. He always wished to hear it from her first but now he can’t wait anymore.
He looked around the room to find her. He was surprised to see her standing near pool. She was crying. His blood boiled when he saw tears in her eyes. He looked at her closely. He spotted her with diary in her hand. He now understood the reason behind her tears.
She could sense Shivay near her. She immediately went to him and hugged him tightly. She broke the hug and asked him.
“Shivay please tell me whatever you wrote in this diary is not true. I trust you Shivay. I know this must be a prank. Please tell me shivay”, Annika held his collar and cried.
” Annika I am sorry for hiding this from you. But truth can never change. I can’t hide the truth from you anymore. Whatever you read was true”, Shivay said to her. He was very well aware of the consequences of his words
Annika started to cry louder. She never believed her life will get changed just by a single truth.
Shivay kept his face straight like a stone. He don’t know how to pacify her. He never thought a single truth which he hided will have a great impact on his live. No matter what he can never change the truth. He should be strong enough to handle this mess.
“why you did this to me? Why you didn’t say to me? I trusted you. Oberois are responsible for my parents death. I know family comes first to you but you are so blinded by your so called love for your family. At least you could have told me about my parents. You cheated me shivay “, Annika hit on his chest continuously. He held her hand and pulled her closer to him. She leaned on his chest and cried her heart out.
