You and me (Shivika– Chapter 3)

(Please note that Shivaay has three siblings–OmRu and Sona, so don’t get confused.)

Anika’s POV

I called him. How can someone forget his bestie? Yeah! I know, we all are busy but still… I am going to eat you alive.

“Hey! Sup, girl? ” a familiar voice greeted me.

“I think you forgot, your bestie exists, Mr. Bhagad Billa”

“Speaking of yourself Miss. Pannika”

“Oh shut up! Don’t spoil my name”I warned him. Nobody but just he can spoil my name. Only he has the guts to do so.

“Same goes for you” I heard him chuckle.

“If you do realize Shivaay I was the one who calls you, so there’s no chance of me forgetting you, get that? You are the one who forgot me”

“You know I’m a busy man” he giggled.

“Yeah! I’m always free, right? A fairy earns for me and I sit and watch movies, with a mouth full of popcorn” I said, my words laced with sarcasm.

“You don’t need to be sarcastic,” he sighed. “By the way, any plans for today? ”

“Nope”

“OK then! Coffee shop at 3” he cut the phone before I could reply. Typical Shivaay.

I glanced at my watch, there’s still one and half hour to go. Since I have a lot of time, why not watch a movie?! I turned on the TV. Captain Ameruca:Civil war. Perfect.

After watching the movie, u realized I was late. He will be so mad at me. His piercing blue eyes flashed in front of me as I swallowed the bulge in my throat.

You are so dead, Anika Shekawat!

Without a second thought I grabbed my phone and clutch and almost ran a marathon to the coffee shop, that was almost about 15 minutes from my house.

I don’t need to exercise after, all the running I do.

There he was. Tapping the table to control his anger. He is furious at me. I slowly walked to the table and sat on the chair, quietly. This is the calm before the storm.

“Shivaay,” I said in the sweetest possible way.

“Where the hell were you? ” he almost yelled. His blue orbs boring into mine.

“At home” I replied immediately. He doesn’t like to repeat when he’s angry.

“What were you doing? ” he asked, gritting his teeth.

“Watching a movie”

“Will you care to tell me the name of the movie? ”

“Captain America: Civil War “0 I fumbled.

“Wow. Miss. Anika Shekawat. Here I have been waiting for you from past one f**king hour and you have been watching a f**king movie that you have watched like hundred times” he emphasized the last few words.

“I am really Shivaay but you do know that I love marvel, don’t you? ” I sugar coated my voice. Be sweet Anika!

“Whatever, that’s not supposed to happen again” he said with finality and placed our order. He did not ask me, still have the correct order. He knows me so well.

“So you have finally got time for me. I’m so mad at you, Shivaay. You don’t care about me,” I said and wiped the fake tears under my eye. He rolled his eyes.

When I’m with him, all my maturity goes down the drain and I become a kid. He sure knows how to get under my skin.

“Stop it Shekawat. Rudy is enough for that but jokes apart I have been really busy with the company and even dad’s not here and over that Om and Sona are visiting this tuesday”

“Sona’s visiting? ” I almost jumped. “So this was her surprise ”

“Crap. She’ll be so mad at me for spoiling her surprise” he wiped the sweat off his face.

“You are in for some serious trouble” I chuckled.

“Dare you tell her anything Shekawat”

“And why do you think that I’ll not tell her? She’s my sister” I grinned.

“My sister” he exclaimed.

“Oh! You know she loves me more than you. Over that, she’s in my girl team. Remember, the girl gang? ” My smile grew wider as I remembered the fun.

“What ever, I need you to help me, ” he said, irritation evident in his voice. It’s so much fun to irritate me. “Let’s go shopping” he got up and paid the bill.

“Why?”

“Buy gifts”

“For me?  That’s so not cool. If you want to gift me something then let it be a surprise. Why take me with you? ” I said as he started to drive.

“Not for you but for Sona. Now don’t speak until we reach, Shekawat” he really has a bad habit of calling me Shekawat.

“You know Anika’s a nice name”

“Yeah,  but you’ll always be Shekawat for me. My Shekawat”

“Aww… You’re so cute” he cringed.

“Don’t call me cute. Call me hot or s*xy if you want”

I rolled my eyes. “You wish” he pulled me out of the car after we reached.

“What should we buy for her? ” he asked.

“Chocolates” I squealed, happily.

“We are not shopping for you” he replied.

“Books-opps. Let’s buy her a dress”

I started to go in the women’s section, when he grabbed my hand and lead me towards Crossword. Aww…

“Go ahead ” he pushed me inside.

I searched through some of the shelves and found what I needed. I happily paid the bill and came out but he was nowhere.

There was a tap on my shoulder, I turned and saw him, grinning.

“Here” he said and gave me a box.

“Chocolates” I hugged him. “You’re so sweet but what about Sona’s dress?”

“Well, I have called the designer for that” he said. “I need a favor” I nodded.

“Randhir has organized this collage reunion party and guess what. It’s a f**king couple party and you know we have to go there. So will you…” I cut him off.

“OK I’ll go with you since even I don’t have a f**king partner” I smiled.

“I’ll pick you up then. Be ready at 7 and on time” I patted my cheek.

“Done” I smiled cheekily.

A/N- Early chapter?! I was free today so thought why not update it! So these two know each other already and are even friends?! Please note that I have changed something in the last chapter. Shivaay has three siblings-OmRu and Sona. I hope it’s not confusing. Looking forward to their journey? I’m damn excited about this book. Yay!!
