SHIVAY ANIKA AUR SIYAPAA – CHAPTER 1

CHAPTER-1 AN URGENCY

{FEW DAYS EARLIER…}

ANIKA POV:
“Shivay pick the phone up…pick up…pick up….. Why the hell is he not picking up the call…? Man it is really urgency…!!” i kept muttering his name a thousand times and i don’t know why the hell he is not picking up the call.
“Di…wait for sometime” gauri spoke behind me. Only she knew the reason why i desperately want to talk to shivay.
“I don’t know what to do…?”

“DI…calm down…nothing is going to happen…we will talk to shivay bhaaiya and sort the issue.” She kept assuring me.
“I know…but he is not picking up the call…uugh…!”
“Must be in a meeting…U know he might be busy…” Saumya replied. “Unlike you…give a lame excuse and put on a leave.”
“Saumya stop it…This is really serious… we don’t have enough time…” gauri spoke sternly.
“Sorry di…” Saumya felt really bad.
“I’m so tensed…what if these people like me and a yes for the alliance…” I said the nearest possibility ahead of me.
“DI…Try calling Om bhaaiya…” Saumya suggested.

“I’ll try…” with shaky hands i dialled his number.
“It’s ringing…”
“Put the speaker on” gauri suggested.
I did as she told and we sisters sat around the phone and waited for om to pick the call.
“Hello anika…!” i heard Om spoke in a reflex and replied.
“Hello Om…where is shivay??”
“Well he has gone to delhi for a board meeting…maybe that’s why he couldn’t pick the call…Any problem.”
“Om…bahut bada raitha phail gaya….” i couldn’t even complete and i hard chachi knocking the door.
“Anika beta…open the door…!”

“Haan chachi aaye…. i replied in a reflex and slowly instructed gauri to tell the matter to Om.
I went out of the room to see chachi holding a pink saree in her hand and i knew for what occasion it was.
“Anika beta…jaldi ready hojana…Malhotra’s will be at any time….just can’t wait to see you married…if everything goes alright then you will become Anika Malhotra…”
I feared at this fact…No i din’t want o become Anika Malhotra…
Saumya came behind me and gave a tight squeeze on my hand and assured that everything is alright… the next moment i pulled her into a hug.

OM POV:
“Match…” i shouted bringing everybody’s attention from the art gallery.
“Yes Om…you heard it right…chachu said this right now and we don’t know what to do…Anika is so tensed and shivay bhaaiya is not in town…
“So….ummm….” i was thinking about how to overcome this situation in a better way
“Om are you there…?” gauri questioned me. I could sense the seriousness in her voice.
“You know what i have an idea…!”

“What is it…?”
“Well…let me ask rudra…he will know what to do…!”
“Ya…Call me back soon”

Gauri POV:
Is that even called an idea… i should have called Rudra; he could give some better idea. Om is useless in these issues.

“God do some miracle….Let this met not happen…”
“Gauri beta come soon…Malhotra’s have arrived” i heard chachi scream.
“Harharayike…!” i muttered
