Scene 1
Shakti tells the principal that she wants to know about Kartik’s father otherwise she won’t leave. The principal agrees. Mandira calls Keertan and says I know you are up to something and trying to tell the truth to Shakti but come back home right now if you want to be alive, he says yes and ends the call. Keertan says I have sent Shakti to the right place and she can find the truth on her own now. He leaves.
Shiv is whispering Shakti’s name in his sleep. Dadi comes there and he wakes up. He says Shakti loves me a lot but what about Kartik? Dadi says does Shakti love your family? He says yes. Dadi says she loves us because we are all related to you, if she loves us then how could she not love Kartik when he is your son? Shiv says you are right, thank you. Dadi says I want to talk to Kartik. Shiv says I will call his school. He is about to call there but Ragunath ends the call.
Shakti is in the school. Manorama calls her and asks her to come back home in 15 minutes otherwise she is dead for her. She ends the call. Shakti is waiting in the principal’s office. Her assistant gives her Kartik’s form where his father’s name is written but it gets blown away before Shakti could catch it.
Chacha tells Manorama to not worry about Shakti, Lord is with her.
The principal comes to Shakti and asks if she got the form? She says yes but it blew away, do you have another copy? The principal says it will take around 15-20 minutes for another copy to come. Shakti asks if she remembers his father’s name? was it Keertan Kashyp? The principal says no, it was something else but I don’t remember it. Shakti thinks she might be mistaken, she thanks her and leaves.
Ragunath tells Shiv that he can’t bring Kartik here, Shiv says why not? Shakti knows my truth and has accepted me, she will accept Kartik too. Ragunath shouts at him that you can’t bring Kartik here, your hands are filled with someone’s blood. He grabs his collar and says you did this with me but do you know about your sins? you can’t bring Kartik here. Dadi says Kartik is his son, what if he wants to live here with him? Ragunath says he is part of our family and our business relies on him so I don’t want to lose everything because of his mistakes. He never thought about his son till now so why does he care now? he doesn’t even know how he looks like but acting like he will die now without him. Dadi says enough, if he couldn’t be a good father then what about you? he is in pain and you are scolding him? If you dare say a word against him then to hell with you and this family’s business. I will bring out all secrets of this family.
Shakti is leaving the school but Kartik comes to her and hugs her. She tells him to not fight with others and I have told the principal to take care of you. Kartik says you might be an angel? Shakti laughs and says I can be your friend. Kartik says sure and you are my first friend, I have no one to share anything with. Shakti hugs him and says I am going to be your friend from now on. Kartik is happy. Shakti asks if his father’s name is Keertan Kashyp? He says no, his name is.. Shakti gets Dharam’s call and he tells her to come home fast. Rimjhim tells her to leave everything and come back fast. She ends the call. Shakti tells Kartik that his father must have some issue that’s why he couldn’t come to see you, I know he would miss you and must love you a lot so don’t be angry at him. Take care. She starts leaving from there but her dupatta gets stuck in Kartik’s shirt. He asks if they will not meet again? Shakti says we will, I make you meet my husband after our marriage. He has clean heart like you. I have to go now but I will be back soon, she hugs him and leaves. Kartik looks on.
