Scene 1
Dadi tells Shakti that they are so happy hearing about her agreement to the wedding. Everyone blesses her, Shakti takes Gayatri’s blessings but she recalls Ragunath telling her that if Shiv doesn’t get Shakti then he would destroy her. She tries to move away from Shakti but she stops her and takes her blessings. Nandu says what about Shiv? Mandira tells him to stop it, let them romance and let Shakti talk to him. Shakti asks where is Shiv? Nandu says he went to the college to meet with her. Mandira asks her to go and talk to him. Gayatri says we should give her shagun. Dadi asks what can we give her? Gayatri gives her Mata’s idol and says she will bless you and protect you. Keep her with you and then you and Shiv would never he separated. Shakti takes it and cries. She recalls promising Shiv that she would never marry him. Mandira tells her to not cry and hugs her. She whispers to her to convince Shiv to marry you if you want to save Rimjhim’s life. Shakti sadly leaves.
Mandira calls Manorama and says congrats, Shakti agreed to marry Shiv. Manorama says that’s good, I knew it. Mandira says don’t tell about Rimjhim’s suicide to my family as they already don’t like her too much. You should tell Shakti to not tell it to Shiv also.
Koyal asks Mandira why she wants to hide about Rimjhim’s suicide? Mandira says I want to keep all cards in my hand, Shiv would never know why Shakti agreed to marry him and then their marriage will end after one day only.
Scene 2
Shakti talks to Gauri’s photo and says I took a big decision today, I have to cheat one relationship to save another one. I have to destroy my friend’s happiness for my sister’s happiness.
Gayatri talks to Gauri’s photo and says Shiv got sad after you left but Shakti is going to enter his life and make it lively again.
Manorama tells Dharam that Shiv can’t find about Rimjhim’s suicide. Shiv arrives there and is looking for Shakti. They both hide from him.
Shakti arrives at the hospital. Manorama comes to her and hugs her, she says I knew you would always choose family above everything. I was conflicted between two daughters but you saved me from trouble. You have taken the best decision of your life. Shiv is very nice and he will keep you very happy. She says Mandira called us and told us. Rimjhim would be so happy. Are you happy about this? Shakti lies and nods. Manorama says Mandira told us to not tell anyone about Rimjhim’s suicide, you can’t tell Shiv about it as his family already don’t like Rimjhim. She asks her to go and talk to Shiv. She nods and leaves.
Shakti comes outside Shiv’s room, he thinks that I won’t spare her, she didn’t even call me. Shakti comes to his office and starts crying, she says I know you are angry at me but please don’t scold me, I am already stressed. Shiv gives her water and asks her to calm down. Shakti sadly looks at him as he makes her drink water. Shiv says I am here to solve your problems. Shakti says you have to come with me, I would need the Lord’s support to talk about that.
Shiv and Shakti arrive at the mandir. She recalls promising Shiv that she would never marry him but then Rimjhim trying to kill herself and Mandira blackmailing her. They both enter the mandir. Shakti says I want to talk about our story as a new journey is going to start. You know we met here for the first time and then in the hospital and then in your house. We didn’t plan it but we became part of each other’s lives and dreams. I look for you when I am in trouble, I didn’t plan it but you became my support and friend. Then I stopped planning because the Lord is making plans for us. We met for a reason and it was Lord’s plan that I fell in love with you. Shiv says I am sorry but I can’t share that feeling. Shakti says I know you don’t love me but its not your fault that you don’t love me. I don’t need your love but can I ask for something as a friend? Shiv says you are my best friend. Shakti says then I want to ask for something. Shiv says if I can ease your pain then I would give you what you wish for. Shakti says let me talk today. We shouldn’t have secrets but you are hiding your past and that is the reason you don’t want to marry me. I want something but think about it before you say yes. Shiv asks what does she want? Shakti shows him sindoor. Shiv says what is this? Shakti says you will get a person who loves you a lot. Shiv is shocked seeing the sindoor bottle. Shakti says this sindoor is a promise of lives together, a wife’s whole life. I want this gift from my friend. It will be a responsibility between us as friends, I want this sindoor from you. Shiv is shocked.
