Pradhan joyfully distributes gifts to his villagers celebrating his daughter Mhalsa’s birth. Meanwhile, the Asurs, led by Malla, hunt for the mysterious girl born from a burning pyre—unaware she is Shakti reborn. Malla secretly plots her death to ensure his survival.
An Asur sneaks into Pradhan’s house to kill baby Mhalsa, but she mysteriously vanishes. Pradhan’s wife panics until they find Mhalsa unharmed, crediting Mahadev for the miracle. The Asur reports failure, claiming animals (possibly Nandi) saved her.
Malla lies to Diti, pretending ignorance of Mhalsa’s true identity as Shakti. When Mani, a devoted follower, overhears Malla’s murderous plans, he confronts him. Malla manipulates Mani, feigning innocence and claiming he thought she was a demon. Mani, deceived, vows to meditate for 20 years to protect women, leaving Malla triumphant—knowing Shakti cannot defeat him while Devi Kali remains trapped.
Twenty years later, Mhalsa, now a young woman, faces danger as fire threatens her life—until a mysterious savior intervenes.
