Vayu declares that he will marry Meenakshi in front of Sundar, revealing that Sundar will receive the death penalty once the marriage is completed. He orders soldiers to tie Sundar near the wedding mandap. Sundar passionately tells Meenakshi that no one can love her like he does. Enraged, Arunasur says he could kill Sundar immediately but wants him to suffer by witnessing Meenakshi’s wedding. Soldiers take Sundar away at Arunasur’s command.
Meanwhile, Diti questions Shukracharya about whether Sundar could be Mahadev, but Shukracharya dismisses the idea, stating that Mahadev would never be captured so easily. Diti hopes that Vayu and Meenakshi’s marriage proceeds as planned. In the basti, people discuss helping Sundar and decide to perform Rudra Abhishek the next day.
As the wedding preparations begin, Sundar prays to Mahadev, asking why Meenakshi cannot see his love and when his trial will end. Meenakshi, secretly watching him, hides before he notices her. She retreats to her room, where Kanchanmala urges her to recognize Sundar’s deep love. Meenakshi, however, dismisses her, refusing to be manipulated. Kanchanmala insists she should seek Mahadev’s help, but Meenakshi refuses, stating she cannot pray to Arunasur’s enemy. Kanchanmala reminds her that Mahadev is no one’s enemy.
Meanwhile, Sundar tricks the commander and soldiers into consuming bhaang-laced energy leaves. As the intoxication takes effect, they begin to lose control. Kanchanmala performs Shivling puja, and Meenakshi arrives, declaring that since Mahadev is Arunasur’s enemy, he is her enemy too. However, she decides to test Mahadev’s power, hoping he can solve her dilemma. She confesses that she does not want to marry Vayu but fears defying Arunasur. Seeking guidance, she prays alongside Kanchanmala. When Kanchanmala prays for her daughter, Meenakshi is shocked. Kanchanmala clarifies that she considers Meenakshi her daughter.
As the intoxicated soldiers and commander begin chanting Har Har Shambhu and dancing, Sundar smiles and joins them. At the same time, Lord Narayan declares that Arunasur’s downfall is near. Meenakshi and Kanchanmala hear the soldiers chanting. Kanchanmala urges Meenakshi to go to the wedding venue. As she arrives, Sundar sees her.
