Mahadev asks Ayyappa if he is ready for his journey, and Ayyappa confirms with a nod. Meanwhile, Mahishi trains with the shadow of her brother, Mahishaasur, to defeat Shakti, claiming he was betrayed, not defeated. Diti warns her that these skills are futile, but Mahishi is determined to avenge her brother.
Mahishi challenges Shakti to battle, but Mahadev sends Ayyappa to complete his journey instead. When Ayyappa arrives, Mahishi vanishes, leaving her soldiers to attack him. Ayyappa easily defeats them, confusing the Devtas, who speculate this is a test of his power.
Mahishi finally appears, declaring she has waited for this moment to kill Ayyappa and become immortal to exact revenge on the Devtas and Shakti. Their fierce battle begins, and Mahishi transforms into her powerful buffalo form. Ayyappa skillfully evades her and counterattacks, forcing her back into her human form.
In a final, deceptive move, Mahishi conjures illusions of Ayyappa’s parents and children, demanding he kill them to prove his resolve. Remembering Mahadev’s guidance, Ayyappa sees through the trickery and rings a bell, causing the illusions to vanish and foiling Mahishi’s cruel test.
