Devi Ganga firmly states that only Shakti can be Lord Shiva’s true wife. Mansa questions her, but Devi Ganga elaborates that this Lord Shiva won’t even look at her, making a heart connection impossible, and she refuses to marry him. Mansa urges her to proceed, but Devi Ganga insists she loves the Lord Shiva who embraces ashes, not this version. She realizes she cannot have the Shiv who belongs to Shakti.
Diti pleads with Devi Ganga to come to her senses, but Devi Ganga stands by her decision, unable to love this Lord Shiva after marriage. She asks Devi Parvathi to keep her Lord Shiva. Mansa accuses Devi Ganga of madness for backing out, but Devi Ganga explains that Shiv and Shakti are destined to be together forever. She apologizes to Devi Parvathi and Lord Shiva, requesting Lord Shiva to return to his true form. Lord Shiva transforms as the sacred Omkara Sadashiv Neelkanth Maheshwara song plays.
Devi Ganga asserts that while she has stepped aside, her love remains. Lord Shiva forgives her and asks the universe not to blame her. He reminds Devi Ganga of her divine responsibilities—to grant moksha—and invites her to reside in his jata (hair). Devi Parvathi is shocked, but Devi Ganga enters Lord Shiva’s jata, and all chant “Har Har Mahadev.”
Lord Shiva garlands Devi Parvathi. Narad Muni declares a happy ending, but Lord Narayan warns that trouble looms as Devi Parvathi appears upset. Ganesh urges Devi Parvathi to garland Lord Shiva, but she removes the varmala, accusing Lord Shiva of unfairness for honoring Devi Ganga, who tried to separate Shiv and Shakti. Lord Shiva says she is too angry to understand.
Devi Parvathi demands answers and refuses to let Lord Shiva leave. Mansa claims Lord Shiva now has both Devi Parvathi and Devi Ganga, but Devi Parvathi warns her not to interfere and threatens to kill her. Lord Shiva reminds Devi Parvathi that Mansa is his daughter, but Devi Parvathi counters that he once vowed to punish those who try to split Shiv and Shakti. She punishes Mansa by locking her in a magical ball. Lord Shiva says he will free Mansa; Devi Parvathi challenges him to try. They argue fiercely, and Lord Shiva departs. Devi Parvathi declares, “If Lord Shiva is Mahakaal, then I am Mahakaali.”
