Kanchanmala is overwhelmed with joy as she touches the Shivling, hugging it tightly while tears flow down her face. She tells Mahadev that after many years, she has finally brought a puja plate to perform his worship. However, she forgets where she placed it. Suddenly, the puja plate starts glowing and moves toward her on its own. Meenakshi watches in shock as Kanchanmala touches the plate, realizing that Mahadev always listens to his devotees. She thanks him and chants Har Har Mahadev with deep devotion.
Meanwhile, Sundar is chanting mantras when Vayu arrives, plotting to make him his slave and marry Meenakshi. In Kailash, Lord Ganesha tells Lord Narayan that Vayu is powerful, and Sundar is unaware of his presence. Nandi expresses concern, noting that Mahadev is without his divine power (Shivatva), making the situation even more uncertain.
Back at the Shivling, Kanchanmala pours milk as an offering, which mysteriously begins falling on Sundar’s head. Confused, he wonders where it is coming from. When she pours water, it too falls on Sundar, leaving both him and Vayu stunned. Sundar questions Mahadev, wondering why he is showing such divine play (leela) instead of answering his questions about his identity.
Kanchanmala, feeling peaceful after years of struggle, is suddenly interrupted by Meenakshi, who angrily scolds her for worshiping Shivling, calling it a sin worthy of death. Meanwhile, Vayu threatens Sundar, declaring that he will turn him into his slave and take him to Meenakshi. However, Sundar boldly states that he loves Meenakshi and will marry her. Using his wit, he tricks Vayu, disarming him before escaping. Vayu chases after him, attempting to strike but missing.
Meenakshi decides to take Kanchanmala to Arunasur, but Kanchanmala pushes her aside and flees. A soldier informs Arunasur that Kanchanmala has escaped, with Meenakshi in pursuit. Shukracharya is left wondering what Kanchanmala has done to enrage Meenakshi.
While running, Kanchanmala collides with Sundar, pleading for his protection. Meenakshi arrives, declaring that no one can save her now. Sundar, unwavering in his faith, asserts that Mahadev will protect Kanchanmala. He calls out, summoning tigers and lions to aid them. As he attempts to escape with Kanchanmala, Vayu swears on the person Sundar loves, forcing him to stop in his tracks. Lord Ganesha watches in worry as Vayu prepares to strike Sundar.
