The real Mata Durga is heartbroken, believing Mahadev has failed to recognize her, and declares she has no reason to remain in Kailash. In a dramatic turn, as the fake Mata Durga moves to garland him, Mahadev seizes it and instead places it around her neck, exposing her as an impostor. He declares that the sacred bond of husband and wife is soul-deep and cannot be deceived, stating, “Shiv won’t get separated from Shakti ever.”
Revealing the impostor as Aadhi, the son of Andhakasur, Mahadev explains he knew the truth when the fake goddess knelt to apologize—a submissive act the true, equal Shakti would never perform. Aadhi confesses he sought revenge for his father’s death.
Though urged to kill Aadhi, Mahadev instructs the real Mata Durga to end him with her divine light. The Devtas, filled with remorse, return the weapons they had failed to wield in her defense. Mata Durga accepts them and destroys Aadhi, who chants “Har Har Mahadev” as he dies.
Mahadev reveals that the demon Aadhi was merely a pawn sent by Maharaj Kali. He explains that he recognized his true Shakti the moment she arrived and challenged his right to judge her, her unwavering answers proving her identity. The gods rejoice, chanting in unison, “Har Har Mahadev.”
