The episode starts with Shiv ordering to start Kartikeya’s coronation as a dev senapati. Devtas perform his bathe and decorate him with jewelry and crown. Tarakasur and his asur team also get ready for the war. Shiv describes a true senapati’s characters to Kartikeya and questions him. Kartikeya gives him right answers impressing Shiv and other devtas.
Tarakasur seeks blessings from Shukracharya to be victorious. Shukracharya refuses to bless him. Surupa and Tarakasur insist him for the blessings. Shukracharya blesses him to be victorious and warns that if he wins, he will live longer and if he loses, whole asur clan will be destroyed.
Devraj Indra says he will follow Kartikeya in this war. Kartikeya seeks his aradhya Shiv’s blessings and then Parvati’s and tells her that he is taking her blessings as a devotee and not her son. Devi Mahishasura mardhini emerges and offers a weapon with Shiv and Adhishakti’s powers in it and says he would be able to defeat Tarkasur. All gods chant Kartikeya’s name.
Precap: Kartikeya challenges Tarakasur. Diti stops Kartikeya and says his end is written in Kartikeya’s hands, so he shouldn’t face Kartikeya. Tarakasur says instead of hiding, he would rather achieve martyrdom.
