Indradev warns that if Mahishi finds the divine child, she will kill him and become immortal. Devi Parvati assures that Mahishi cannot harm the child. She recalls granting Mahishi a boon in the past — that only a child born from the union of Mahadev and Lord Narayan could end her life. Devi Parvati explains that Mahishi cannot recognize the child’s true identity until she looks into his eyes. In the present, Indradev insists they must protect the child at all costs.
Meanwhile, Kali tells Diti he cannot locate the child and admits the Devtas’ plan is flawless. Diti replies that since Mahadev and Lord Narayan themselves are protecting the child, finding him is impossible — only Mahishi has the power to do so. Kali decides to wait, saying Mahishi’s tandav will soon begin. As Mahishi’s rage intensifies, she sets nature ablaze.
Indradev and Chandradev rush to Kailash, pleading with Devi Parvati to save the earth from Mahishi’s destruction. Chandradev adds that Mahishi is searching for the divine child and only Devi Parvati can stop her.
Diti advises Mahishi to calm down and use her mind instead of brute strength. Kali reminds her of her power to sense scents and suggests using her nose to find the child. Mahishi transforms into a buffalo and begins sniffing for his scent. Then, reverting to her human form, she thanks Kali, announcing that she has discovered the child’s location — in the south — and vows to kill him.
Hearing this, Indradev grows fearful, wondering how the child will survive Mahishi’s attack. He urges Mahadev and Devi Parvati to protect him. Devi Parvati recalls Mahadev’s advice — to always stay a step ahead of the enemy.
Meanwhile, Ayyapa’s parents plead with him not to leave the palace. His father asks what he is seeking. Ayyapa replies that something feels missing and he must find it, standing firm in his decision. His father finally grants him permission to go, and Ayyapa departs as his mother weeps.
In the south, Mahishi declares she will find the child but fails to detect his scent. Confused, she wonders why she cannot sense him.
At Kailash, Mahadev says the divine child is on his way, and Devi Parvati affirms that Ayyapa is coming, describing his divine virtues.
Elsewhere, Ayyapa confides in Suryadev that he feels incomplete despite having everything and wishes to discover his true identity. He begins meditating, and as he does, a snake and a peacock feather appear before him. Mahadev proclaims that this marks the beginning of Ayyapa’s story.
Soon after, Mahishi finds a peacock feather and vows to kill the child before he learns the truth about his birth. She commands her clan to search for him.
