Gajasur struggles with guilt over deceiving Mahadev, lamenting his actions and seeking a solution from his mother Mahishi. Mahadev reflects on the consequences of selfishness and praises Gajasur for honoring his vow despite being an Asur. Gajasur, realizing his death is the only way to rectify the chaos, bids farewell to his mother and asks her to perform his last rites at Shivalay.
The world descends into turmoil due to Mahadev’s absence. Goddess Parvati vows to find him, despite warnings from Lord Narayan about the escalating destruction. Parvati searches for Gajasur, believing he holds the key to Mahadev’s location. When they confront each other, Gajasur mocks Parvati’s efforts and challenges her to battle, claiming he will erase Shiv and Shivatva from existence.
Devi Parvati, enraged by Gajasur’s defiance, transforms into her Adi Shakti avatar and prepares to end his reign, declaring his story will conclude with her. Mahadev, observing these events, acknowledges Gajasur’s eventual sacrifice and decides to grant him a boon for his actions.
