The episode starts with Shiv informing devraj’s contenders that he will sit on a highest mountain peak and whoever reaches him first will become devraj. Parvati asks him reason. He says both devtas and asurs will get their kings today.
Shukracharya captivates Gajasur and says he will keep Gajasur in prison until he gets an asur king. Mahishi says he can’t do that. Shukracharya says he can. Gajasur chants Har Har Mahadev and breaks the rope.
Shiv disguises himself into an old man and asks Parvati to wait and watch his magic. Parvati asks what is he up to. Shiv says this game is to select Devraj. Parvati says she didn’t understand. He says she will over time.
Gajasur suspends Shukracharya from the position of asur guru and removes him from asur lok. Shukracharya challenges to return soon.
Narad informs contenders that they shall walk the cliff to reach Mahadev. Narayan gives them rudraksh mala and asks them to climb the mountain chanting Om Namah Shivay.
