Devi Parvati pleads with Lord Narayan to save Kailash from the destructive flow of Devi Ganga, but Lord Narayan apologizes, explaining he cannot act against Lord Shiva’s wishes. Feeling unsupported, Devi Parvati threatens to cut ties with him, but he insists not every brother can solve his sister’s problems and suggests someone else might help her.
Turning to Sage Jahnu, whom she once blessed as her brother, Devi Parvati asks for his help. Sage Jahnu, honoring their bond, agrees without hesitation. When Devi Parvati brings him to Devi Ganga, Sage Jahnu confronts the river and, when threatened, begins to drink her entire flow to stop the devastation.
Lord Shiva, disturbed from his meditation by these events, becomes furious, believing Devi Parvati and Sage Jahnu have committed a grave wrong. He accuses Parvati of prioritizing her family over the cosmic order and insists Devi Ganga must be released, while Devi Parvati stands firm that Ganga will remain contained.
