As the powerful Mata Mhalsa song echoes, Mhalsa fiercely fights her kidnappers, wielding a wooden stick with divine wrath. Stunned by her strength, one captor questions if she’s a mortal woman or Chanki’s avatar. Meanwhile, King Malla and the Jejuri villagers witness the sacred Shivaratri rituals, recalling the legendary tale of Lord Shiv drinking the deadly poison to save the universe—a moment the villagers honor with chants of “Har Har Mahadev.”
In the midst of her struggle, Mhalsa trips, hitting her head on a stone. Blood spills as she collapses, unconscious. The kidnappers rejoice, mocking her—until Martand arrives like a storm, his entrance marked by the Malhari Martand anthem. He defeats the attackers, freeing Mhalsa and tenderly tending to her wound as the title song swells.
But danger lingers—hidden in the shadows, a vengeful kidnapper coats a dagger in poison, ready to strike. At the same time, far away, Mani senses Mhalsa’s peril when Devi Kali’s idol mysteriously bleeds. With fate hanging in balance, will Martand evade the lethal ambush? Or will the poison’s ancient curse repeat its deadly cycle?
Precap: Martand is struck by the poisoned knife and immediately senses it. Realizing the danger, he urges Mhalsa to leave before the poison takes hold. Growing weak, he collapses against her shoulder.
