Raavan reflects that Raja Marud has transformed from foe to friend, planning to convince him to halt the puja. Mahadev grants Raavan full freedom to act as he wishes, delighting Raavan who departs immediately, while Mahadev silently notes this as Raavan’s second test. At the yagya site, Raja Marud conducts the ritual; Raavan arrives, prompting Indradev’s suspicion, but Raja Marud warmly

invites him to join and promises a vision of Mahadev upon completion.

Raavan declares his intent to stop the yagya, not participate.
