Devi Parvati arrives at the Mallikarjun Jyotirlinga temple, where an old lady urges her to enter while she brings her husband inside. However, Devi Parvati insists that Lord Shiva must first heal the old man before she steps in. A devotee warns that conditions cannot be placed before Lord Shiva, while another states that if Lord Shiva wills it, he will heal the man. Devi Parvati argues that if a devotee’s demand is just, Lord Shiva should fulfill it and calls upon him for help.
Meanwhile, Sadashiv observes that Devi Parvati’s journey, which began with self-interest at Somnath, has now turned selfless. As devotees question Devi Parvati’s authority over Lord Shiva, she remains firm, stating that it concerns his devotee and refuses to enter the temple until the old man is healed. Some devotees criticize her stance, fearing Lord Shiva’s wrath, and ask her to leave. However, she continues to call upon Lord Shiva.
Inside the temple, devotees perform puja to Mallikarjun Jyotirlinga while chanting “Har Har Mahadev.” The Jyotirlinga glows, and Lord Shiva emerges, delighting the devotees. A devotee apologizes to him on Devi Parvati’s behalf, but Lord Shiva leaves without responding. The old couple doubts that Lord Shiva will appear just because Devi Parvati calls him. However, to everyone’s amazement, Lord Shiva arrives.
Time halts except for Shiv and Shakti, who share an intense gaze. Lord Shiva tells her that he came because she called him, to which she replies that she did it for the devotees. He remarks that had she called him out of love, he wouldn’t have come. She questions whether he would have ignored her as his wife, and he responds by releasing time’s flow. Devotees urge Devi Parvati to bow before Lord Shiva.
Lord Shiva declares that only Devi Parvati has the right to command him, revealing her true identity as Shakti. Shocked, the devotees apologize to her. Lord Shiva assures them that, like Devi Parvati, any devotee who calls upon him with true devotion will receive his blessings. When he asks Devi Parvati for a boon, she wishes for all who visit the temple to be healed. Lord Shiva grants her wish, and the old couple is miraculously healed as devotees chant “Har Har Mahadev.”
Elsewhere, Shukracharya, worried about Devi Parvati spreading Shivata, plots against her. Swarth claims selfishness will soon enter the Mallikarjun Jyotirlinga temple and sends two men to spread it there.
