Devi Parvathi apologizes to Mahadev for misunderstanding his intentions, admitting her anger was misplaced. Mahadev forgives her, teaching that anger is the true enemy. During meditation, Shiva glimpses his past—remembering why Devi Parvathi undertook the Jyotirlinga yatra, his divine identity, and his life in Kailash with their children. He acknowledges Devi Parvathi’s remorse and emphasizes conquering anger before merging into the Jyotirlinga.
When Devi Parvathi approaches him, Shiva recognizes her, smiling lovingly. Overjoyed, she celebrates his regained memories, and he vows to join her yatra. However, an ice wall separates them as a test—Shiva declares they’ll reunite only after completing the pilgrimage, guiding her to Trimbakeshwar and Rameshwaram.
Narad questions Lord Narayan about the divine ordeal. Narayan explains that even Mahadev faces consequences for abandoning his wife, proving the universe’s fairness.
En route, Lord Shiva and Devi Parvathi encounter meditating Sage Gautam, blocking devotees’ path. Learning the sage seeks redemption for accidentally killing a cow, Shiva initially directs him to bathe in the Ganga. When Gautam pleads for an alternative, Devi Parvathi praises his selflessness. Transforming into their divine forms, Shiv-Shakti manifest the Godavari River—a sacred extension of the Ganga—granting liberation to all.
