Mhalsa repeatedly dreams of Shiv and Rudra and wakes up disturbed, wondering who the recurring figure in her visions is. As the temple bells ring, she recalls the strange experience she had upon stepping into the Shiv temple. Meanwhile, Martand too is haunted by dreams—this time of Shakti and Kali. He wakes, questioning the identity of the divine presence that appears to him every night.
Driven by her dreams, Mhalsa visits the Shiv temple, where she unexpectedly encounters Martand. Irritated by his presence, she confronts him, accusing him of being shocked that she’s still alive. Martand denies her accusations and asks why she misunderstands him. Mhalsa calls him arrogant, while Martand teasingly credits the healer’s medicine for her feisty words. Their tense exchange ends with Martand leaving, smiling.
Unbeknownst to them, an asur secretly listens in. Mhalsa senses someone nearby and searches with a wooden stick but finds no one. Jaya soon arrives and questions why Mhalsa scolded Martand. When Mhalsa sarcastically asks if she should worship him, Jaya reveals that Martand was the one who saved her. Mhalsa is stunned by the truth.
As villagers begin preparations for the Shivaratri celebration, Martand joins in. They praise him for bringing prosperity to the village. A man offers him Thandai made as an offering to Mahadev. Though hesitant, Martand drinks it and chants “Har Har Mahadev.” As the devotional Karpur Gauram plays, Martand drinks multiple glasses, astonishing the villagers. They wonder how he remains unaffected, suggesting he is either blessed by Mahadev—or Mahadev himself in human form.
Mhalsa watches the scene unfold. The village head, Pradhan, arrives and is amused. Martand jokes with him and lightens the mood, but when Pradhan inquires about Martand’s origins and his parents, Martand narrates a story: during a heavy downpour, a crying infant was found abandoned in a temple by a priest who raised him as his own.
Revealing the twist, Martand tells the villagers that he was that abandoned baby. Everyone, including Mhalsa, is left shocked by the revelation.
Precap: Malla approaches the Shivling to perform Abhishek, but Mahadev intervenes and stops him. Meanwhile, on the other side, Mhalsa pours water over Martand.
