The episode starts with rishi Kashyap addressing Analasur that he walked on a path of adharma, so he chooses Ganesh’s life over Analasur’s life. He picks some grass and asks Mahadev to feed it to Ganesh to end Analasur’s sins and save Ganesh. Mahadev does same. Grass instantly kills Analasur, and Ganesh miraculously recovers instantly.
Ganesh stands up and asks why are they all looking at him like this, if something is there on his face. They all laughs. Parvati hugs and pampers Ganesh. Ganesh thanks his parents for saving his life. Mahadev says didn’t save his life, Rishi Kashyap did; Rishi Kashyap followed a path of dharma and killed his own great grandson.
Parvati asks rishi Kashyap what kind of grass is this. Rishi Kashyap says it’s a durva grass which is simple and very powerful. Parvati says whenever devotees offers Durva in pooja, their wishes will be fulfilled. Ganesh gives a boon to durva that whenever it’s offered in pooja, he will solve his devotees’ problems. Mahadev also gives a boon to Durva.
Mahishasur gets angry seeing Mahadev’s win and asks Shukracharya how to defeat Shiv. Shukracharya says if he ends Adishakti, even Shiv will be dead. Mahishasur asks how to end Adishakti. Shukracharya refuses to reveal anything.
Back to kailash, Shiv and Parvati ask Ashokasundari how she escaped from Hunda. Ashokasundari says a brave and handsome youth saved her from Hunda and even killed him, but she doesn’t know his name. After some time, she smiles lying on Parvati’s lap, lost in Nahusa’s thoughts. Parvati asks if she is thinking about that youth. She denies and says let her sleep now.
Mahishasur insists Shukracharya to reveal how to end Adishakti. Shukracharya’s good virtues request him not to. Mahishasur provokes Shukracharya and says Brihaspati is better than him. Shukracharya gets into his trap easily and reveals a name of the monster lady who can kill Adishakti.
