Parvati gazes at Ganesha with deep, aching emotion. She tells him that as a Goddess, she understands the weight of destiny, the laws that govern fate, and the spiritual essence of detachment. Yet despite all this, she wonders why the world cannot see that she is also a mother—one who feels every joy, every fear, every sorrow. She says people often mistake her emotions for weakness, when in truth, her emotions are her greatest source of strength. Parvati questions what hurts her more: that she couldn’t share her family’s grief even for a moment, or that despite being Adi Shakti, she might have failed in offering unconditional love to her universal family.
Mahadev gently signals Ganesha, who leaves, and then walks toward Parvati. He tells her she is the embodiment of Nature, and
Mahadev then shows her an empty bird’s nest. He explains that the birds who once lived there have flown away, yet they remain connected no matter where they go. Their bond is not tied to the walls of a home but to the love that guides them. A family, he says, stays united not by staying in one place but by nurturing each other’s desires, happiness, and well-being. Parvati listens and agrees, finding solace in his wisdom.
Elsewhere, Ravan is caught in a storm of rage, violently breaking things around him. Nanavati urges Diti to stop him, but she says it is impossible. Suddenly, Ravan freezes when his eyes land on the Shivling. Overcome with emotion, he drops his weapon, falls to his knees, and cries out for Mahadev’s help.
Mahadev hears Ravan’s genuine desperation and expresses his desire to go to him. Parvati stops him, resulting in a brief but intense exchange between them. Meanwhile, Ravan declares that he will end his life using the weapon Mahadev once gave him.
Mahadev finally appears before Ravan and stops him. Ravan collapses at Mahadev’s feet, thanking him through tears. He asks why Mahadev answers other devotees so quickly but took so long to come to him. Mahadev replies that he responds to devotion—not ego or arrogance. He explains that he will always be with Ravan when he walks the right path, but if Ravan follows darkness, Mahadev will step away.
With patience and compassion, Mahadev guides Ravan back toward the pure path of tantra bhakti, helping him recognize his errors.
Ravan then asks Mahadev to come with him to Lanka. Mahadev answers, “I am everywhere.” Ravan insists he wants Mahadev in a form he can carry with him. Mahadev looks at him with approval and says, “Now, with guidance, you are ready to walk the path that brings you closer to my divine essence. And today, you have asked the right question.” Mahadev continues, “So let your first question be this—tell me, what do your ten heads truly represent?”
