Lord Shiva sternly warns Devi Ganga that his divine duty calls him to protect the Devtas, urging her to remove her water barrier or face his trishul’s strike. Meanwhile, chaos reigns in Indralok as Devtas flee from Mansa’s venomous serpents, with Mansa smugly assuring herself that while she handles the attack, Ganga must delay Lord Shiva at Kailash.
At Kailash, tensions escalate as Devi Ganga insists Lord Shiva eat before leaving, while Devi Parvathi accuses her of obstructing his sacred purpose. Lord Shiva warns Ganga once more, but she counters with an emotional appeal—reminding him how devotees worship Shivling with her Gangajal, selflessly until now. For the first time, she asks them for a favor in return. The devotees, bound by devotion, swear an oath to stop Lord Shiva wherever he is.
Ganga presents Lord Shiva with an impossible choice: his duty to save the Devtas or his devotees’ sacred oath. Parvati urges him to prioritize the Devtas, but Lord Shiva reveals most are already unconscious—only Indra remains. Disappointed, he declares Ganga has crossed all limits, her love now tainted by selfishness. True love, he asserts, lies in sacrifice (tyaag), penance (tap), and cosmic dance (tandav). With that, he departs.
As Ganga tries to speak, Parvathi silences her with a fierce warning, sending everyone inside. She declares her unwavering devotion to Lord Shiva, emphasizing the unbreakable bond of Shiv-Shakti—a love beyond possession. Ganga, defiant, claims she too can become Shiva’s wife one day, but Parvathi only smiles, pitying her misunderstanding of their divine union.
With the conflict unresolved, Ganga finally lowers her water wall. Mansa arrives, celebrating their “victory,” while Diti joins in the hollow triumph. Meanwhile, a desperate Indra pleads for salvation as serpents close in. Lord Shiva, disillusioned, realizes Ganga’s actions have sided with injustice—a betrayal of cosmic balance.
