As Shiva collects water from devotees—a child, an elder, and a sage—his humility moves them. Returning with the pot, a debate arises: which water is purer? Lord Narayan devises a test—a two-headed snake, summoned by Mansa, bites Parvati’s hands. Gangajal heals one wound, Shiva’s begged water the other.
Skeptics like Shukracharya scoff, urging Shiva to abandon Parvati for Ganga. But as Parvati smiles, revived by Shiva’s water, divine love triumphs—proving purity lies not in sacred rivers alone, but in devotion and selfless surrender.
