Murli orders his soldiers to kill Martand, but they fail and are mercilessly beaten. Scolding them for cowardice, Murli himself attacks, only to be overpowered and strangled by Martand, who declares that forcing a woman into marriage is the gravest sin. Villagers, fearing Malla’s wrath if Murli dies, try to stop Martand, but he rages that anyone insulting a woman deserves death and boldly proclaims Mhalsa belongs to him forever.
Despite warnings, Martand takes up the trishul while Murli charges with a sword. In a shocking moment, Martand hurls the trishul and kills Murli. News spreads quickly—Mani, imprisoned, weeps as he senses Malla’s downfall. At the palace, Malla and Diti witness Martand and Mhalsa arriving in their Rudra and Kali forms, Martand casting Murli’s severed head at Malla’s feet. Martand vows to expose Malla’s evil, free Jejuri from his dark power, and declares he will marry Mhalsa the next day, daring Malla to stop him.
While villagers panic, blaming Martand and Mhalsa for provoking Malla’s fury, Pradhan stands firm, supporting the couple and urging others to trust them.
