Arunasur declares that Meenakshi will die, but Lord Shiv challenges him, asking if he can harm Meenakshi in his presence. He invites Arunasur to try. Arunasur attempts to burn Meenakshi alive, but Lord Shiv shields her. Enraged, Lord Shiv hurls Arunasur into the sky as the Mahakaal song plays. Arunasur, in disbelief, cries out that this is impossible.
Meanwhile, Shukracharya warns Diti that now that Lord Shiv has regained his shivatva, opposing him is dangerous. Desperate, Arunasur begs Shukracharya and Diti to save him. Lord Shiv, however, commands Arunasur to reveal the truth to Meenakshi. Arunasur reluctantly agrees, and Lord Shiv brings him back to earth, glaring at him.
Arunasur confesses to Meenakshi that she is not his daughter. Shocked, she listens as he admits to lying—her mother died after giving birth to her. When Meenakshi demands to know her mother’s identity, Shukracharya and Diti try to silence Arunasur, but Lord Shiv warns them to stay quiet. Arunasur finally reveals that Kanchanmala is her mother. Meenakshi, devastated, weeps upon seeing Kanchanmala’s lifeless body, recalling the love and support she always received. Hearing a king’s sorrowful cries, she realizes that the king is her father. Heartbroken, she questions why her parents endured such suffering.
Lord Shiv discloses that her parents were once the king and queen of this land, explaining how they became Arunasur’s slaves. Meenakshi, seeking justice, asks why her parents faced such injustice. Lord Shiv urges her to seek the truth herself for answers. When she expresses confusion, he warns that the path of truth is not easy. He then accuses Shukracharya of being responsible for an impending catastrophe before departing with Lord Narayan.
Arunasur, regaining composure, commands his soldiers to imprison Meenakshi in the king’s cell. However, Meenakshi, unwavering in faith, declares that if she fulfills her duty as a daughter, Agnidev will protect her. Suddenly, she is engulfed in flames.
Watching this, Lord Narayan tells Lord Shiv that Meenakshi reminds him of Sati. Lord Shiv acknowledges the similarity but distinguishes them—Sati embraced fire to end her life, while Meenakshi embraces it to uncover the truth. He further reveals that King and Kanchanmala’s story began with fire, and now, Meenakshi’s journey will reach its conclusion.
Determined, Meenakshi remembers how Kanchanmala trusted and worshipped Lord Shiv. She resolves to follow the path of truth through penance and begins her tap.
Recognizing that Meenakshi needs guidance, Lord Shiv decides to support her in her quest for truth. He sends his divine power to her as the Har Har Mahadev song plays.
Arunasur, sensing something amiss, demands an explanation from Shukracharya. Shukracharya reveals that this is Shiv Shakti’s divine play, which no one can stop. Refusing to accept defeat, Arunasur declares he will bring the king to stop Meenakshi. But Meenakshi, resolute in her faith, proclaims that if her father is a true devotee, the fire itself will halt Arunasur. At that moment, the flames rise, preventing Arunasur from leaving.
