Murli warns Malla that Mhalsa will never agree to marry him, for her heart belongs to Martand. Infuriated, Malla slaps Murli and rebukes him for failing to convince her. Murli taunts that even Malla himself has been unable to sway her. Enraged, Malla strangles him and vows that nothing is impossible for him—his tantra will break any bond. With burning determination, he declares that he will separate Mhalsa and Martand at any cost.
Far away, Martand continues his deep meditation. Mhalsa arrives, pleading with him to open his eyes and rise, as the time has come to expose Malla and destroy his evil powers together. But Martand remains motionless, lost in divine silence. Meanwhile, Malla begins a powerful yagya, from which a deadly serpent emerges. The serpent hisses an order to its clan—soon hundreds of snakes slither into Jejuri, unleashing terror as villagers cry in agony from their venomous bites.
Hearing the screams, Mhalsa rushes out, only to be confronted by Murli. He mocks her, comparing Martand to Mahadev who cannot wake at her call. When she tries to leave, Murli grabs her hand, threatening her with an ultimatum: if she wants Jejuri saved from Malla’s destruction, she must marry him the next morning. His words pierce her heart as she sees villagers collapsing, fangs sunk deep into their flesh. Even when a snake bites her, the wound mysteriously vanishes, but her mother falls victim next, followed by the village vaidya. Pradhan, broken and desperate, turns against Mhalsa, blaming her for bringing calamity, while her mother cries that the family is suffering only because of her.
Murli’s cruelty does not end there—he orders his soldiers to slay Martand and bring him his head. Yet, despite their attempts, their weapons fail to harm the meditating soul. Back in the village, the anguished Pradhan urges Mhalsa to marry Murli to save their people. Crushed with guilt, Mhalsa fetches water for her ailing mother, but Murli shatters the pot from her hands and taunts her again. He demands her decision—will she save her villagers by sacrificing herself? Surrounded by pain, Mhalsa breaks down. With tears flowing, she agrees to marry Murli, but only if he promises to save her people. Murli beams with twisted joy at her submission and leaves to halt the destruction.
Mhalsa collapses into grief, haunted by memories of her cherished moments with Martand. But just as despair engulfs her, Martand opens his eyes—his meditation finally broken, setting the stage for a divine showdown.
Precap: Malla tells Mani that Shiv and Shakti’s existence will be destroyed once Mhalsa marries Murli. Meanwhile, Martand declares he won’t spare anyone who tries to separate Mhalsa from him and fiercely defeats the soldiers.
