Devi Parvathi forbids Devi Ganga from entering Kailash, but Devi Ganga insists on staying. When Devi Parvathi threatens to leave if Ganga remains, Lord Shiva declares he will leave Kailash instead, ignoring their pleas to reconsider. He blocks their way with his trishul and departs, lamenting the selfishness of both goddesses and expressing his disillusionment with the world.
Narad, concerned, tells Lord Narayan that Lord Shiva’s anger could have dire consequences. Lord Narayan explains that this is the result of Parvathi and Ganga’s actions and warns that the world may soon witness Lord Shiva’s wrathful form. He urges Narad to intervene, fearing Lord Shiva might destroy the world.
As Lord Shiva attempts to leave, Devi Parvathi commands the Mountain to stop him. The Mountain tries but is ultimately destroyed by Lord Shiva, who curses the land to become a desert. Ganga’s attempt to stop Lord Shiva with Gangaajal also fails.
Lord Narayan arrives at Kailash and holds Parvathi and Ganga responsible for Lord Shiva’s departure, but Parvathi refuses to listen. Meanwhile, Lord Shiva renounces all his duties, telling Parvathi and Ganga to manage the world in his absence. Mansa and Kadru discuss the aftermath, with Kadru predicting that the world will not forgive Mansa for these events.
Precap: Lord Narayan plans to attack Vasuki for backing Mansa, but Lord Shiva warns him to first face the power of his own trishul.
