Meenakshi meets Sundar in the forest, where he teases her before sending a bull away. When he asks why she’s there, Meenakshi looks at the milk bowl she brought for him. Sundar flirts, assuming she’s mesmerized by him. Playing along, Meenakshi pretends to praise him, making Sundar suspicious of her sudden change in behavior. She then persuades him to drink the milk, saying it symbolizes the beginning of their friendship. Though hesitant at first, Sundar eventually agrees. Kanchanmala secretly listens to their conversation. Sundar drinks the milk, claiming he would even drink poison from Meenakshi’s hands. Narad shares his concerns with Lord Narayan.
After drinking the poisoned milk, Sundar initially appears fine, confusing Meenakshi and relieving Kanchanmala. However, he soon collapses, making Meenakshi momentarily happy. As she prepares to leave, guilt overtakes her, and she rushes back, begging him to wake up. Kanchanmala, also feeling remorseful, acknowledges that Sundar is not Mahadev and apologizes to Mahadev.
Determined to save Sundar, Meenakshi tries to take him to a vaidya/doctor and calls for help. Meanwhile, Lord Narayan speaks about their heart connection. Sundar regains consciousness and teases Meenakshi about her kind heart, despite being Arunasur’s daughter. Relieved, Meenakshi insists on getting him medical help, but Sundar reassures her that he is fine. She then confesses that she poisoned him, but he laughs, refusing to believe her. Lord Narayan and others are pleased, while Kanchanmala realizes Sundar is actually Mahadev and anticipates Arunasur’s downfall.
Meanwhile, Diti and Shukracharya discuss Vayu’s strength as he prepares to enter the palace. Upon arrival, Vayu overpowers Arunasur’s men, impressing Diti. Arunasur reminds Vayu of his promise to his father regarding his marriage to Meenakshi and urges him to meet her, to which Vayu agrees.
Back in the forest, Meenakshi vows to defeat Sundar but in a fair way. She again urges him to see a doctor, but he refuses. Sundar appreciates her concern and stops her from leaving, confessing that he has fallen for her. He then asks if she feels their connection, leaving Meenakshi shocked.
