Diti leads a procession of women to King Ripunjay’s palace, declaring that their sacrifice in the yagya will ensure the victory of adharma and the beginning of Asur rule. The gods attempt to stop them: Vayudev creates a storm and Varundev summons a flood, but Diti’s power protects the women. Even Indradev’s rains cannot deter them.
At the palace, as a triumphant King Ripunjay announces the start of Kaliyug, Diti and the women arrive. She is the first to step into the sacrificial fire, urging the others to follow. The worried Devtas plead with Lord Narayan to intervene, but he states that Chandi will act as she wishes.
At the critical moment, Chandi intervenes, shattering the palace floor to stop the sacrifices. As a burning Diti screams for help, Chandi appears in a radiant new form that astonishes Lord Narayan and Brahmadev. King Ripunjay mockingly declares she has come to be his slave, but Chandi proclaims herself his destruction, vowing to kill any Devta who tries to save him.
When the king boasts that the immortal Devtas will protect him, Chandi taunts his foolishness, revealing herself as the primordial AdiShakti. She declares she can behead him at will and advances to fulfill her destiny, embodying the ultimate power of Shakti.
Precap: Chandi tells King Ripunjay that she will reveal the truth to him today. She lifts him and takes flight, leaving him terrified. Meanwhile, Kashi gains freedom from Kali’s hold, and Bholenaath rejoices at the ghat.
