Dundunbinad transforms into a tiger and attacks Rudra but fails. When Rudra touches his head, Dundunbinad reverts to his normal form. Confused by Rudra’s mercy, Dundunbinad questions why he was spared. Rudra explains that he protects all beings, including Dundunbinad, for the universe’s well-being. Overwhelmed with guilt, Dundunbinad requests Moksha. Rudra grants his wish, transforming him into a tiger outfit after Dundunbinad chants “Om Namah Shivaya.”
Narad questions Lord Narayan about why a sinner like Dundunbinad was forgiven and granted Moksha. Narayan praises Mahadev’s boundless mercy, declaring this form as Pashupatinath—the protector of all creatures. He reveals that in Pashupatinath Temple, Shiva will appear with five heads, and a new Shivling, Vireshwar, is being established in Kashi by Kartikeya and Ganesh.
Meanwhile, Kali, consumed by anger, marches toward the ocean. Indradev warns that if she steps into it, the waters will vanish, dooming the universe. Despite pleas from Kartikeya and Ganesh, Kali remains defiant, declaring that not even Mahakaal can stop her.
As Kali prepares to destroy the ocean, Rudra appears and challenges her—if she must destroy the world, she must destroy him first. Kali accepts, setting the stage for a divine confrontation as Lord Narayan declares the world’s impending doom.
