Madanasur, burdened by guilt, begs Devi Parvati to end his cursed life so the world learns to think before speaking. Despite opposition from Swarth, Diti, and the other Asurs, Madanasur renounces them, declaring his loyalty to truth and acknowledging Lord Shiva and Lord Narayan’s wisdom. Accepting his fate, he chants “Har Har Mahadev” and “Jai Mata Parvati,” ready for liberation.
Devi Parvati, on her Jyotirlinga yatra, is conflicted about killing Madanasur since he has transformed. Lord Narayan advises her to grant him mukti. Seeking guidance from Lord Shiva, she’s told to take another form to fulfill this duty. She then transforms into the fierce goddess Baglamukhi and slays Madanasur by cutting off his tongue, granting him salvation. Sadashiv declares that this powerful form of Adi Shakti will henceforth be worshipped as Baglamukhi. Devtas shower her with flowers in reverence, chanting her name.
Lord Shiva then retreats into the Jyotirlinga at Vaidyanath temple, and Devi Parvati vows to bring back his reflection. Despite Lord Narayan’s concern over how she’ll do it after Madanasur’s death, Devi Parvati declares she is still alive and determined. Using the power of love, her reflection reaches out to Lord Shiva’s reflection, urging him to stop. She embraces him and professes her love, which calms him. They share a heartfelt reunion as divine music plays and flowers rain upon them.
Lord Narayan proclaims that this is the essence of true love—Shiv and Shakti uniting as two souls becoming one. As Devraj Indra attempts to speak, Lord Narayan stops him, encouraging all to simply savor the moment.
Devi Parvati then tells Lord Shiva’s reflection that they must now proceed to the Vaidyanath temple. Meanwhile, Shukracharya plots, realizing Devi Parvati must visit eight more Jyotirlingas to complete her journey, and believes they still have one chance to win.
