Devsena tearfully asks Mahadev whether the suffering she is witnessing is truly her destiny, but Mahadev remains silent, absorbed in deep meditation. Meanwhile on the battlefield, Kartikeya struggles against Raavan’s mighty weapon, Chandrahas. Unable to overpower it, Kartikeya declares the battle unfair. Raavan counters that it is not adharm, and that Chandrahas will ultimately end Kartikeya’s life.
Hearing Raavan’s arrogance, Devi Parvati becomes furious. She declares she will take the form of Kali to destroy Raavan immediately. Mahadev firmly stops her, explaining that he granted Raavan the boon himself and Kartikeya willingly challenged Raavan—therefore neither of them has the right to interfere with the destined chain of events.
As the battle intensifies, Kartikeya is severely injured. Raavan traps him inside a powerful shield created from the energy of Chandrahas. Raavan warns that if Kartikeya attempts to break the shield, it would be equivalent to defying Mahadev’s own blessing. He orders Kartikeya to accept defeat. Confident, he announces that he is going to meet Mahadev and demands that Mahadev face him.
Mahadev appears before Raavan. Raavan greets him with devotion, declaring that on the auspicious day of Bhairav Ashtami he wants Mahadev himself as his boon—he wants Mahadev to come to Lanka and live there forever. Indradev rushes in and pleads with Mahadev not to grant such a dangerous boon. But Raavan reminds Mahadev that on Bhairav Ashtami, Mahadev is bound by his vow to fulfill the devotee’s request. Mahadev, upholding dharma and his own word, grants Raavan the boon. Devi Parvati and the divine beings are shocked.
Raavan triumphantly enters Lanka, where people loudly chant his praise. He proudly announces that their Lord Mahadev has arrived in Lanka. Mahadev appears and the citizens rejoice. Raavan proclaims that from today, Lanka belongs to Mahadev and wonders if this is all part of a divine plan. His grandfather praises Raavan for performing the unimaginable—asking Mahadev for Mahadev.
Raavan attempts to perform jalabhishek on Mahadev, but the water doesn’t touch Mahadev’s form. Confused, he reaches out and is startled when he realizes it is only Mahadev’s shadow. Outraged, he shouts that this is deceit. Using his powers, Raavan breaks the illusion.
Suddenly he finds himself face-to-face with Kartikeya. Realizing this was all Kartikeya’s maya, Raavan accuses him of tricking him.
A flashback shows Ganesh advising Kartikeya that to defeat Raavan, he must use maya. If Raavan seeks victory at any cost, let him believe he has won.
Back in the present, Raavan declares that Kartikeya has insulted him and must pay. Consumed by fury, he raises Chandrahas and advances toward Kartikeya, determined to kill him.
Precap: Kartikeya says that Mahadev did not speak a single word against Raavan, and feeling deeply hurt, he decides to leave Kailash with Devsena. Mahadev calls out to him, asking him to stop, while Devi Parvati pleads with Kartikeya not to go.
