Jimrasur learns from the commander that King Bharat’s daughter, Kanyakumari, was born as an adult. Diti orders Jimrasur to kill her, but Shukracharya warns him not to, as Kanyakumari could end his life. Shukracharya advises that if Kanyakumari gets married, she will lose the power to kill Jimrasur. Jimrasur instructs Banasura to woo and marry her quickly.
Devi Parvati awakens, and Mahadev reassures her that Kartikeya is safe and will be freed once Jimrasur is defeated. He explains Kanyakumari’s role in this battle and shows her Kanyakumari, praising her beauty. At the palace, Kanyakumari admires Mahadev’s idol in the temple, performs puja, and expresses her desire to marry Mahadev, shocking King Bharat and Queen. Despite their objections and reminders that Mahadev belongs to Devi Parvati, Kanyakumari insists that love knows no right or wrong and decides to perform penance/tap to win Mahadev’s love.
As Kanyakumari leaves the palace for her penance, she unknowingly drops a magical jewel. Banasura notices it but cannot pick it up. When Jimrasur hears about the jewel, he scolds Banasura for his failure and decides to retrieve it himself. Kanyakumari begins her penance, praying to Mahadev to accept her love. Devi Parvati, watching her, expresses her unwavering devotion to Mahadev in every form but wonders about the outcome of Kanyakumari’s penance.
