Tantra once again possesses Martand, forcing him to urge Mhalsa to leave. But she refuses. As Martand’s eyes turn red, Mhalsa pleads with him to fight Tantra like before. However, consumed by the dark force, he strangles her and raises an axe—only for Rishiwar to intervene, purging the Tantra from Martand’s body. Collapsing, Martand is helped up by Mhalsa, who reassures him when he apologizes—it wasn’t his fault.
Rishiwar explains that the Shiv Tantra has been corrupted into a death spell, and its creator will face its wrath unless protected by the Sureksha Kavach. Determined to uncover the mastermind, Martand and Mhalsa follow the Tantra—only to witness it strike Malla in his palace.
Screaming in agony, Malla realizes his own weapon has turned against him. Martand seethes with rage, declaring Malla responsible for his mother’s death, the desecration of the Shiv Temple, and the betrayal of Jejuri. Meanwhile, the gods observe—Indradev acknowledges justice, Narayan prophesies Malla’s downfall through Martand and Mhalsa’s love, and Brahmadev declares the beginning of Malla’s end.
Though Malla survives by expelling the Tantra, he vows vengeance. Martand, burning for retribution, tries to attack, but Mhalsa stops him, warning of their current weakness. As they struggle, divine visions appear—Martand sees the Rudra avatar, while Mhalsa glimpses Devi Kali. The moment whispers of their destined unity: Shiv and Shakti.
