The episode starts with Shiv and Parvati making Kartikeya sit between them and pampering him. Intoxicated Nishumbh tells asur godmother Diti that her husband rishi Kashyap stays with her sautan Aditi; she prays Shiv, but Shiv never blessed her to have a complete family while Shiv is enjoying a complete family, etc. Shumbh drags Nishumbh from there while Nishumb continues to laugh and taunt Diti. Diti says Shiv is enjoying a complete family with his son and wife while she is incomplete, so she will turn Shiv’s family incomplete.
Shiv gets tensed hearing that. Parvati asks if something is bothering him. Shiv says when his wife and son are with him, what would bother him. He asks Kartikeya whom he admires most. Kartikeya says his aradhya and father Shiv.
Diti meets Shanidev and provokes him against Shiv. She says Shiv is getting all the attention and is prayed by the whole world, but Shanidev doesn’t get any attention at all. Shanidev refuses to believe her and asks her motto for visiting him. Nishumbh walks to him next and says even Shankchurn got more respect than Shanidev, nobody respects him at all. Diti provokes him to put his inauspicious eyes on Shiv and destroy his family life. Shiv warns Diti not to do that in a hurry to take revenge from him. Shanidev agrees to help Diti.
