Lord Narayan informs Indradev that Rudra, an avatar of Lord Shiva, is bringing destruction to the universe. As Rudra departs from the cave (accompanied by the Rudra song), Chandradev tries to calm him but is burned by Rudra’s anger, who warns him to leave or face annihilation. Devi Ganga also attempts to soothe Rudra, but he rejects her, stating he does not need her and reminding her that it was Lord Shiva, not Rudra, who gave her a place in his locks. Nandi pleads at Rudra’s feet, but Rudra tells him to move away or face destruction, declaring the world unworthy of his presence.
Lord Narayan explains that only Shakti could stop Rudra, but now even that is impossible as Rudra has closed the door to her influence, and Shiv Shakti has chosen the path of destruction. Brahmadev, consulting the Vedas, claims destruction always follows Shiva’s actions and vows to protect the world he created, declaring Shiv Shakti will not exist in it.
Meanwhile, Nandi confides in Ganesh about being unable to stop Shiva’s transformation into Rudra and plans to seek Kartikeya’s help. Ganesh dissuades him, saying Kartikeya has suffered enough, and as Shiv Shakti’s son, he will resolve the problem himself. Ganesh reveals he has found both his mother’s and father’s locations, emphasizing that Shiv and Shakti, though at odds, complete each other. Nandi expresses his worry, but Ganesh assures him that Shiv Shakti cannot shirk their responsibilities and departs to reunite his parents.
Asur, taking advantage of the chaos, attacks animals, confident that Shiv and Shakti are preoccupied. Indradev intervenes, but Asur mocks his power, claiming he will usurp Indradev’s position after slaying a hundred lakh cows and that Lord Shiva will not come to their rescue.
Rudra hears the animals’ cries of distress. Ganesh arrives, holding Rudra’s hand and urging him to return to Kailash, promising to bring his mother as well. Rudra warns Ganesh to leave for his own safety, but Ganesh insists he cannot go home without his parents. The animals escape, and Indradev believes Lord Shiva saved them, while Asur credits Vayudev. Rudra instructs Ganesh to return home and departs, leaving the fate of the universe hanging in the balance.
Precap: Kali says she was never given respect in this world, so her temple has no place in it. Just then, Rudra arrives, declaring that he has come to protect Devi Sati’s Jwaladevi temple.
