Sundar sneaks into the palace, searching for Meenakshi. When she finds him, she questions his presence and what he gave her to eat. Laughing, Sundar pleads with her not to marry Vayu, insisting that he doesn’t deserve her. Meenakshi, however, refuses to go against Arunasur, knowing he won’t understand. As her dupatta falls on Sundar’s face, he smiles and hands her a Rudraksh, asking her to tie it on her wrist if she ever changes her decision. She insists she won’t, but he reminds her that love should be the foundation of marriage. Meanwhile, the commander and soldiers regain consciousness and realize Sundar has escaped. They soon capture him, and the commander scolds him before taking him away.
The next day, in the basti/locality, people pray to Mahadev for Sundar’s protection, while in Kailash, Ganesh performs a puja to the Shivling. At the wedding mandap, Vayu arrives and smugly tells Sundar that he will kill him after the wedding. Arunasur orders the maids to bring Meenakshi. As she prepares as a bride, she recalls Sundar’s words. When a maid arrives to escort her, she hesitates but ultimately follows.
At the mandap, Meenakshi and Sundar exchange glances as a sorrowful tune plays. Vayu, pleased, smiles at Meenakshi. Shukracharya instructs them to sit and announces that after five offerings to the hawan kund, they will be husband and wife. Sundar is shocked.
Meanwhile, Kanchanmala prays to Mahadev to save Meenakshi. As the rituals begin, Meenakshi keeps looking at Sundar, which enrages Vayu. He orders Shukracharya to slow down, wanting to savor Sundar’s suffering. Sundar taunts Vayu, pointing out that marriage should be about love, yet Vayu is only excited about his downfall. Sarcastically, he remarks that Meenakshi is lucky to have Vayu. Arunasur demands that Sundar remain silent, but Sundar insists Meenakshi should speak for herself.
Caught in an internal battle, Meenakshi’s mind urges her to obey Arunasur, while her heart tells her to stop the wedding. She believes Sundar will save her but fears betraying her father. Her heart reminds her that she is a princess, and her decision will set an example for other women. As her conflicting thoughts rage on, she finally closes her eyes and takes the Rudraksh in her hand. Seeing this, Sundar smiles, knowing she has made her choice.
