Shilpa Shinde gives a befitting reply to Gulki Joshi’s ’15 minutes of fame’ comment; says, ‘Their monthly paycheck is my per day and those 15 minutes changed the TRP”
Shilpa Shinde who recently returned to the small screen with Maddam Sir shared in an interview that she is not happy with the growth of her character in the show. Shilpa also shared that her character was supposed to be a long cameo but it vanished without any further notice or context.
Earlier in an interview, Gulki Joshi was asked about Shilpa’s stint in the show. She said, “I think we would let the audience decide on who is deserving and who isn’t. Silence speaks for everything and I think there are two kinds of people in this world. One who thrives on positivity and one who thrives on negativity, you know who is what. I think the audience is the best judge. If we weren’t honest with our work, our show would not have had a 3-year long run. I think all the fifteen minutes of fame can rest in peace, for all I care.”
It seems like her interview didn’t went well with Shilpa who has returned with a befitting reply for Gulki. The actress took to her Instagram account and shared a video wherein she said, ‘These ladies have proven that their brains are in the knee, I think they have now come to know that their monthly paycheck is my per day and those 15 minutes that she mentioned changed the TRP, you all can see it for yourself what my entry in the show did for them.”
She captioned her video as, “Kuch log sirf ek show karke apne aap ko bahut kuch samajhne lagte hain aur kuch log zindagi bhar bechare side actor banke rah jaate hain aur phir apni frustration nikalte hain!!”
Shilpa also talked about the negative comments coming her way and wrote, “Mujhe Indusrtry wale kabhi support nahi karte, Agar iss tarah se ye log mujhe badnaam karenge aur mujhe STRESS dete rahenge aur kal agar ase STRESS ki wajah se kuch bhi ulta hua toh plz mat aana candle lekar, sabke seene pe BHOOT bnkar mein baituhngi” (People from the industry folks have never supported me and now these people are humiliating me. If they will keep doing this then I might end up doing something that I shouldn’t do. Then please don’t come with a candle, I will trouble you all after becoming a ghost too.)
